Good news from Best Buy! Finally a different order page to look at. Now says arriving tomorrow however no shipmeant tracking. Anybody know how they usually shop? Fed ex or UPS? Checked both and see no shipments to me scheduled. Just want to be able to track so someone is home tomorrow!!!

Same here. UPS has am estimated delivery of Monday when I go into tracking. delivery date was pushed back to Oct5 from Sept30th a few days ago. Order is for a Apple Watch Ultra GPS + Cellular, 49mm Titanium Case with Green Alpine Loop - Large
I ordered the titanium watch through Apple.com. The order only ships at the beginning of November. I found one preparing to ship tomorrow from Best Buy (yes a different Band) I ordered a trade in kit for my 7 Watch. Will I still be able to use the trade in kit if I cancel my order with Apple?
Its close, but not quite the same. You have a flat screen that is 23 square millimeters larger and contrast doubled with 2000 nits on the bright side vs the S8 screen which is rounded down on the sides Not housing as many pixels. I would say as long as they aren’t next to each other one could assume they are the same, but with all metrics considered, I believe you will be able to tell a difference right away if they are side by side.
Based on the images Apple posted on the AUW pages, if you're comparing 45mm to 49mm, the difference appears to be almost inconsequential. If you expand the quoted reply below, on the top edge the 45mm display shows "CENTR" (half of the R) while the 49mm display shows "CENTR" (full R with just a hint of the bottom left leg of the A). On the right side, the 45mm shows "CENTRAL PAR" (half of the R) while the 49mm shows "CENTRAL PAR" (full R). It's possible that this would be obvious to some people side by side, but I had to look carefully to distinguish the display that had half of the two Rs from the display that had complete Rs. It's a lot more evident if you compare the 44mm display.
Same here. Shipping UPS worldwide express saver so delivery on next wednesday instead of this Friday. Sure a lot better than 2 to 3 weeks as was listed on my order status page.

So this is Bizarre - I was one who had a delivery date of something like Sept 28 to Oct 5 that slipped to Oct 5-15. Got notified it's shipped with expected delivery Sept 28th!!! What a shocker. Was prepared to hit the Apple Store site to see if I could snag one in the store tomorrow. But now I'll wait.

Mine shipped too, was bumped back on Monday to end of October (21-28), but now will also come on the 28th. Very happy about that! Originally ordered on Sept 11 in the eveing with mid-October delivery, medium Starlight Alpine loop.

Stupidly, I waited until 9/8 to order a blue/gray trail loop which gave me an October 21-28 delivery. I think that's held firm; that said, these orders getting pushed up give me some hope that I could see it in the next few weeks. Still thinking of popping into my local Apple Store on the off chance they have something in stock.
Used part Apple Card/gift card as payment -- I assume if I could walk out with one tomorrow, I'd be able to cancel that order and use the same gift cards?
I don't know why the hell I can't just wait and be patient...tell my kids patience all the time, and here's dad with a total inability to do so when it comes to Apple product...LOL

YOINK! Another change to the AUW ordering saga. After several delivery date changes, backward and forward, the AUW Orange medium just shipped from Jiaxing, CN with expected delivery Monday Sep 26. “What a long strange trip it’s been”. Last listed delivery date was a 10/4-10/9 window. This crazy order go-round is one for the books.
