Can anyone tell from ups if a signature is required for delivery tomorrow? Mine first say anything about that.

Finally got the “shipped” notification from Apple with an ETA of tomorrow. UPS still says Kentucky, but I’m sure it’ll show up in Minneapolis today or even tomorrow morning. Usually goes from Arrived in Minneapolis to “out for delivery” pretty quickly.

I just got notified by Apple Store app that my Ultra with Starlight Alpine will be here tomorrow. The UPS Tracking number I found in UPS MyChoice assigned from "AI" was indeed my Ultra sitting in a UPS warehouse somewhere waiting release. SO it should arrive tomorrow! However, my added Blue/Gray Trail Loop slipped and now shows November 4-18 delivery

Being in Ky is good! It is the last stop before you see it flown to your local hub. You will have your watch on Friday, just as Apple promised.

Thanks for your comment. Someone posted a comparison and it looks like we are getting more screen ratio. With AW Ultra you can see more space around it.

Yes. I was looking at that graphic when I replied earlier. If you compare what's actually on the 45mm S7/S8 display to what's on the 49mm Ultra display, they're so close to being identical that for all practical purposes they're the same. You can see this if you look at street names and intersections on the 45mm and 49mm displays. The 44mm AW display shows less information on the display compared to the other two.

Came in wondering the same thing. I'm sure we'll still all receive them on Friday, but if not, they better give a heads up. I'm making arrangements to be home to sign for it.
I had actually forgotten that in-store pickup wasn't possible when I ordered and this was being shipped. Definitely want to be home when the UPS truck shows up, for several reasons and impatience probably isn't even the most important reason.

Alright everyone….let’s see some pictures of those Ultra’s on the wrist once they arrive😂.

I’m particularly interested to see a picture from anyone that ordered the size “M/L” trail loop that has a large wrist. My wrist measures 8 3/16 and I have trouble with the Apple’s “Sport Loop” bands. In the ”large” size, the end of the band (when wrapped on my wrist) sits at the 3 or 9 o’clock position on my wrist (looks weird). I have to order the XL size of those to have the end sit more towards the bottom of my wrist…and Apple typically only offers the XL in one Color option:(

With the trail loop….at least from the pictures on Apple’s site….it looks like they’ve designed it so that the “end” (when wrapped on the wrist) sits more in the 3 or 9 o’clock position on the wrist (ie more on the side). So, I’d be concerned that I’d really be in trouble with the size M/L trail loop (ie that it might sit more in the top to side range of the wrist. Unfortunately, they don’t make an XL version of the trail loop.

Interested to see the sizing on the trail loop for those with large wrists.

I think with the display, battery life, GPS, and the call qualities (nobody is talking much about this yet so I am very curious if all these speakers and microphones really take that up a notch) would be worth a little struggle at the cuff once in awhile?
I think you pretty much summed it up there. The features are compelling, as long as it fits into daily wear and use.

I also think the pricing seems lower than I would have expected, if you compare the prices for the S7 titanium Edition watches and the S8 stainless steel watches. The AWU isn't exactly a bargain, but it looks like the cost to feature ratio is better than other versions of the Apple Watch.

Did you get your AW from the stateside or did it come from China?

My Ultra appears to be in Louisville, KY with a 23rd delivery. This is a 0.6 KG package shown as “AI” in UPS My Choice app. .6 seems a little heavy. I wonder if that is my iPhone 14 PM? There is a 0.4 KG “AI” UPS package in Korea showing delivery on 26th.

just got this:

UPS my track has no updates since arriving in KY

The package weight for my AWU is shown as 0.6 KG, which does seem heavier than expected.

UPS shows only two events for mine:
(no date) Label created - China
9/20/22 9:01pm - On the way - Louisville, KY

Two minutes ago the UPS tracking record coughed up a long series of tracking events from China to Korea to Alaska to KY. Shows delivery on time for tomorrow.
