Apple store near me have the AW Ultra with the trail band in stock today so I'll be picking that one up.

Kinda pisses me off as I have had my Trail Loop on order since introduction day and it still shows November! For the black/grey model!

Grabbed a AWU yesterday as walk-in at an Apple Store with black/gray trail loop. Activation was super quick with no hassle whatsoever (thanks, Verizon!)

I'm seeing this one (Apple Watch Ultra GPS + Cellular, 49mm Titanium Case with Orange Alpine Loop - Medium) available in several NYC stores today for pickup: Soho, Queens, Downtown Brooklyn, and World Trade Center.

I've been oddly impressed with my ocean band. It looked so clunky and uncomfortable. But I find myself really liking it. I still have the black/gray trail loop on order....but wondering if I even need it? It might be a little slimmer design and lighter, but if I have no complaints about the ocean band, why even bother?

I'm very much a "one band" type person. I've had Milanese loop for my past 2 watches and never swapped the band out.

I really like my ultra, only complaint is I see the blue gray trail loop getting dirty, pretty fast, would’ve went with grey black if I t was available Monday, funny thing is it was available Tuesday but I decided trying to exchange wasn’t worth the hassle. I have an official black trail loop on order slated for delivery in December until then I also have a knock off from eBay coming. I’ll see if it’s comfortable enough.

AWU arrived today. It's going to take some getting used to. It's a lot bigger than my SS S6. Weight feels about the same, but it feel as lot larger to me. Alpine loop is super comfortable, hopefully it holds up over time well. Ultra screen is amazing....

My AWU from Apple arrived yesterday morning. Got it setup and started wearing it around 10:30am. The battery was at 81% after setup. It’s been about 21 hours and my battery is now at 49%. I’m going to enjoy this thing.

Fit seems pretty good too. I have about 7.25” wrist and honestly it doesn’t look much bigger than my 44mm S4. It feels heavier though, so I’ll have to get used to that. Attached a pic, I’m terrible at mirror selfies but you get the idea.
On the flip side the ultra looks like a 40mm S3 on your wrist 😂

I have one on order here in Toronto with the ocean band midnight colour. Expected between Oct 25th to Nov 1st. They have some in stock with the trail band but that little pull fabric on the end of the strap that you use to pull the band open seems flimsy and sticks up a bit.

can anyone comment on the trail bands and that little pull tab? looks like it sticks up too much instead of being flat and flush with the rest of the band.

Here are some pics…just received my Ultra a few hours ago. Black trail band. The tab, on my wrist does stick up a tad, at one certain angle but it’s so soft, I don’t think it’s height would be an issue.

I think I want that band but not at ’s price tho…lol
Nomad Goods makes a nice looking Titatnum link band. There’s also another new-ish brand coming on the scene, but they don’t ship until December.
