Best Buy had the AWU with blue/gray trail loop with an estimated delivery date of 10/11, so I pulled the trigger because I had a $10 discount and $5 gift card. We’ll see which one arrives first.

What are the opinions here on ordering from Best Buy vs. Apple Store? I just looked at BB and it says the blue gray trail loop in s/m can be delivered on Oct 5 while my pending AS order still says Oct 14-21. Are they good with trade-ins?

They offered $55 for my wife’s gold aluminum S4, which is the same as what Apple offered (I messed up during the order process and forgot to add my trades with Apple).

I didn’t cancel my order through Apple in case they pull through and deliver first. Pretty awesome that you can snag one on the 5th. I’d go for it.

Very thorough. I agree, for some uses, the lack of offline maps is a bummer.

My order now says available to ship in 2-3 days but no arrival date range. So if it is coming from China I’m thinking it would still get to me the same date it said before (Oct 14-21)

Anticipation it’s making me wait…

Just ordered the Ultra Ocean Midnight with AppleCare. The estimated delivery is 2-3 weeks (Oct 20-27th). I tried to get at local Apple store for the last week but no Ocean Midnight. Yesterday the delivery estimate was Oct 28- Nov 5. Looks like Apple is catching up.

When will my credit card be billed?

I had to call Apple to place the order I gave them my Apple Card information and was told that I'd get the 3% cash back...we'll seeee. Any insight from others?

Damn I guess I’m still not lucky! Charge for tax still pending and date still the 17-24, heck I’d be happy to love to the 14-21….well there’s always tomorrow…

The Ultra I ordered from Apple on launch day originally had a 10/20-10/27 ETA just shipped last night for 10/7 delivery.

The Ultra I ordered from Best Buy a couple days ago originally had a 10/10 ETA also just shipped and has a 10/12 delivery. I wasn’t given any shipping options at the time of order and they shipped it UPS SurePost. 🥴

Apple shipment will arrive first and I’ll be returning the other to Best Buy.

Anyone from the Northeast UK looking for the AW Ultra with the Trail Loop, the Metrocentre has them in stock (S/M) in Black/Grey as well as the other two colours. No M/L though.

I managed to walk in and pickup the Ultra with the Green Alpine Loop... very nice and not as big on the wrist as I was expecting. Just setting up / charging now! Wasn't showing on the website as being available but they said when volume is low they don't show on the website so it is worth going into the store to check!

I love the alpine loop, and hope you do too! It takes a little getting used to the latching mechanism, but after a couple days it should become second nature. It’s very a comfortable material and definitely feels secure.
