It looks like it's just 10%. Regardless, I think I'll splurge for it because when I'm not using it like a MacBook Lite, I plan on using it without a case for reading. It comes to less than $3/mo for two years, and will cover the Air M2 and Magic Keyboard.

I buy AppleCare on all portable equipment. iPads, laptops, AirPods, iPhone. AppleTV, HomePod, no way.

I bought an iPad during their sale last year and did in store pick up. When I picked up the order they gave me a psychical gift card that I immediately used in the store.

Never before has so much money spent on a new computer bought so little. It's just sad, these new things, where the only available software is held hostage in the app-store,* and their faster ram and processors eaten alive by greatly increased loads of telemetry demanded by the latest OSes and bloated subscription-model suites. Even the dark days of the beige models were better than this.

(*I am well aware of the Terminal hacks that normies don't know about.)
