Whats wrong with the mail app? I never had any issues with it, but i see so many complaints about it.

Haven't experienced any bugs yet, so ok from that side. My battery life seems marginally worse though. iPhone XS.

When I'm actively using my phone (browsing, etc.) I can see the battery drop about 1% every couple of minutes. Had no issues before the update so I'm blaming iOS 13.

Overall yes, but I am certainly not happy with this new way of text manipulation when you touch the screen to try to place the cursor or select text. Not a fan at all.

IOS 13 is causing some of my games to lag badly and requires a restart of the phone once that happens

My 6s+ has been stuck in 'headphones mode' for the past few weeks (Apple says can't be fixed), but I was able to make videos that still included sound/microphone.

I had a glimmer of hope that iOS 13 would release my phone from headphones mode; however with iOS 13.0 update, my 6s+ will no longer record sound in my videos. 🤬

I fear that 13.1 will not fix that.

IOS 13.x right now is a buggy POS thats going to take time to weed out everything. 13.1 will be better but it wont solve everything... its going to take time

Unplugged this morning at 8 AM when the battery was at 86%. Now it’s 2 PM and the battery is on 82%. I listened to music on my one-hour commute to work (Airpods).

This has to be a bug, even if I didn’t touch the phone at all, the battery should have gone down more than 4% in 6 hours. This is iPad-level standby time without the standby part.

iPhone XR on iOS 13.0.

So we’re unhappy when it drains faster or slower. Interesting

I hate that feeling when you realize your intuition to NOT upgrade was true.

13 is terrible on my 7.

Crashes. No pull down/up Notification Center or control center. The swipes are gone until a reboot. Then they come back only to go away again. Horrific.

Unreal.

13.1 did not fix any of my key bugs, namely it not holding my location services preference for a couple apps (Gmail and Capital One) and forcing the selection to be Ask instead of what I would like it to be, which is Never. Was fine on iOS 12. Bug appeared in 13.0, and 13.1 did not fix it, nor did a developer app update for one app (other app has not had an update published since 13.0 was released). Uninstalled and reinstalled both apps, that didn't fix it either, so I guess I'm stuck with it for the foreseeable future.

I guess I am a pretty ordinary iPhone user, it works and does the things it needs to do, does that mean it's good, bad or indifferent? No idea as long as I can do what I need to do.

Almost.

It’s buggy just enough that the odd bug is annoying and feels rushed. Like how everything other time I open Mail the app is upside down...

I have to say no. My iPad Pro 10.5" has the keyboard bug, with the floating keyboard sometimes freezing or showing up blank with no keys. Quite ridiculous to have a keyboard problem in an OS this mature. I can understand somewhat about bugs in advance features like Airdrop, but the keyboard?

curious what you mean by 'floating keyboard' bug?

when you click off a text box or relevant text input, keyboard stays up?

I had this specific issue with 12.1 on my XR it pissed me off to no end (In addition to slightly worse battery, and inconsistent animations). Had hardware issues with the unit, got it replaced with one that had 12.0.1 and never thought to go further. Especially with jailbreak.

12.0 is one of the most polished x.0 experiences I've had. Still buttery smooth. But 12.1 was fine on my SE oddly enough.

It was pretty buggy on my 8 plus. Had weird Bluetooth issues (I had to re-pair everything; Hey Siri was totally broken in my Subaru's head unit), Mail was trash, etc.. I upgraded to an 11 Pro and as expected, it's flawless (god it had better be for a phone that cost as much as my 10 year old iMac did brand new!). Found I really like Face ID as well; never used it on earlier phones so I can't appreciate how much faster the new one is, but it's quite nice. One of my favorite 13 features is when you go to send someone an attachment over text, it "remembers" your most texted people, so it saves a bunch of taps to send something out. Love that.
