I see, in the meantime, you can prevent them from downloading apps:

Settings>General>Restrictions>

"Enable Restrictions" (be sure they don't see you enter passcode). Then, under "ALLOW" turn off: "Installing Apps", "Deleting Apps", "In-App Purchases", perhaps also "iTunes Store" to prevent them buying music/TV/Movies and "iBooks Store" if any of them might get a book. I did this and the App store disappeared from my home screen. You can just come back here to turn back on when you need or this is fixed. The passcode you set for "Enable Restrictions" will be needed to turn these back on. If you need to change the passcode here, just "Disable Restrictions" then enable them again and it will ask for you to enter a new passcode.

I updated to 7.0.3, but this bug still exists. The same bug exists on my old iPhone 5 that my wife is using as well. Very strange that I've not heard anything about it from anywhere else. Seems like a pretty big bug.

Is anyone else having a problem with the location services menu not working? I tried to use find my iPhone and it said it couldn't locate it because location services was turned off. I went to settings and found it but the toggle doesn't move. There is no way for me to turn it on.

Hard reboot your phone

In iOS6, when I plugged my iPhone 5 to charge, the battery icon showed a lightning bolt to indicate this and then it changed to a plug symbol to indicate that it was fully charged.

Now, in iOS 7, it always shows a lightning bolt? Someone said that its meant to pulse whilst it is charging and stays static once it is fully charged however mine does not do this?

Can someone please clarify this?!

It pulsed in the first beta but then they took it out.

How it's behaving for you is how it's supposed to work.

So basically, now we just unplug the phone when it shows '100%', whereas before, I wouldn't unplug it unless it showed the plug symbol (even if it showed 100%)?!

Yep. You don't need to worry about the battery that much, once it says 100% there is at most a few minutes of trickle charge left that would net you maybe an extra few minutes of usage.

Nothing too major, but if you're concerned just leave it in for a few more minutes after it hits 100%.

Frequent Locations locked.

I'm trying to conserve battery life and am unable to turn off Frequent Locations because the switch is locked (grayed out).

I realize their might be some other setting to unlock first and then go back and turn off Frequent Locations but I can't figure this out!

Help me, apparently I'm not smart enough for a smart phone.

Well, at least my phone seems to be working trouble free. Of course, the other half's; not so much. Shes still on a 4s now running iOS7 & she was about ready to throw it out the window of her work truck. Big issues were: the alarm that didn't wake her due to the sound changing, not being able to access voice mail or many other password-protected items, and the loss of iMessaging. Got everything else figured out pretty much but that last one. I've tried a few different things (turning off, then back on the iMessaging, power cycling the phone, and trying to re-enter her user name & password for the iMess). That last one only netted us this.

That was regardless of whether it was on 3G or wifi. Anyone have any thoughts or hints?

i Got the same problem " Waiting for Activation ", and i was able to solve it, doing the following procedure:

"If you have an iPhone and for some strange reason (you switched phone numbers or phones) your iMessages app is only showing your e-mail address and not your phone number, or the wrong phone number, turn off iMessage / Facetime, simply text Act1vate to +447537410277 . After that, turn iMessage on, and reboot. It Should be working after that "

I adapted the text a bit, cause i followed the instructions also from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVmbdvbZMbQ

WARNING: You will be charged an International SMS, but hey, there´s no free lunches, right ? :p

I haven't updated, but iOS 7 is showing as having downloaded. I didn't set it to do so. How do I delete the download? It's eaten up several GB of my storage and I now only have 2.3Gb free :( I had at least 4 or 5Gb previously.

Just deleted some stuff I didn't need and I'm still not much better off. I don't think my usage adds up to what is used. Any ideas?

Facetime not working on iOS7 on iPhone 4

My iphone 4 with ios7 will not connect on facetime with other iPhone 4's running ios6? But they can do facetime to each other, all I get is connecting then nothing!

Interesting - Private option is there on my iPhone, but not on my iPad.
Looks like you're in the "Favorites" folder...try going back, click on blue < Favorites until there is nothing there, just black "Bookmarks" in center, then does the "Private" button show up?

Should also be there with the open pages screen...not sure how you get there on iPad... + sign?
