In iOS7 safari, is there a way to get to the top of a web page faster than swiping until you get there? In iOS6 all you had to do was hit the top of the screen at the address bar and it would bring you to the top of the webpage.

Tap the top bar twice.

Still works. Just make sure you tap north of the address bar.

Doble Click Home Button

Just swipe an app window up. Took me a few to figure that out too.

If you want background apps to close, just double click the Home button and see the apps running in the background. If you want to close some, just sweep the app up and the app will disappear from that scroll screen and close.:)

At the bottom of the page there is a link that says "scroll to top". Press it and you are there. I just noticed this the other day.

That tends to be something on a specific webpage rather than an iOS thing and wont always be there. The standard process is to press the top of the screen

I see no blue dots next to my recently updated apps, since the day after I updated. I never know something has been updated until I check the app store app and look at updates.

What gives?

I've noticed the same thing. I assume it's a bug.

I didn't go through all 26 pages and I didn't find what I want using search tool so pardon me if the question has arised few pages back.

How to set up year only in date-time setting in iOS7?

Thanks.

sometimes i updates apps through itunes. on ios 6, whenever i sync my devices to itunes, the apps sync to the newest update. it doesn't happen on ios 7. apps on iphone are not synced with itunes. am i missing something? i know i can turn on automatically apps update & no need to sync to itunes. i am just wondering.

Do you check for app updates in iTunes? I usually do this every couple of days to keep on top of everything. Syncs take much longer if I don't do this.

yes i do. in fact, i check for app updates in itunes more than in my iphone. the problem is since i updated to ios 7, my iphone doesn't sync with itunes for app updates. One sample: my camera+ app is up to date in itunes & is not my iphone. when i sync iphone with itunes, my app in the iphone doesn't sync with itunes & i still have to update it in iphone. it synced well on ios 6.

I had issues until I stopped the wifi sync and then re-initialized that option. It works now, I think.

Am I correct in thinking that in Notification Center, at the top where it tells you the weather, isn’t it also supposed to tell you how long it would take you to get home or to work?

I have Location Services turned on, and when I then go to System Services and then Frequent Locations, my iPhone 5 has already learnt my ‘Home’ location and also my ‘Work’ locations.

I am sure I have seen pics of Notification Center whereby there is a message saying ‘It would take you 1 hour to get home right now’ – or I am imagining things…?!

Yes it does do that but it can take a while to gather the information it needs, some folk seem to think thats about 2 to 3 weeks before things start showing up.

This option finally showed up for me this morning.

Was waiting for the train, to get in to work, and pulled down the Notification Center, and there it was - 'It would take you 58 minutes to drive to work right now'
:)

I've spotted a couple of people on their iPhone 5s whereby when they slide to unlock the screen, they are prompted to enter a password on the keyboard instead of the usual digit pin number.

I can't see any option where I can select a password instead of a pin number when sliding to unlock...?!

I think its Settings > General > Passcode Lock and change the "Simple Passcode" option to off. This then lets you set it as a password rather than a four digit pin.

You can't use iTunes radio unless you have a US iTunes account. What does iTunes Radio have to do with free songs on iTunes?

There aren't usually free songs on iTunes - the only ones I've ever seen are the featured "Song of the week" shown on the front page of the Music section in iTunes.
