this is a joke

This is a joke. I've been waiting on my phone since black Friday. I've had my ordered canceled and re-opened several times. I've gotten 2 emails saying that it was going to ship by close of business, only to have the order canceled.

Today a guy called me and asked if i wanted to activate my new phones. I was like, I haven't got it yet! So he xfer'd me to the sales people who said they dont know when i'll get the phone, but it sholud be by Christmas.

What a joke their communication is terrible. Oh and if I don't get my phone in 30 days, the porting request will be canceled and I'll have to do it over again.

from the black firday deal? Nope, both orders were canceled and supervisors wouldnt reopen them.

From my premier order (which i placed on the 6th) it says 2 3gs, 1 new 3g and a free phone have been shipped with tracking number. So i hope i get them tomorrow but unfortently the 4th iphone i ordered, a 3g refurb is back-ordered:(

I got mine on Tuesday. I checked the serial number and I guess it still has a 1 year warranty on it. Pretty awesome.

AND AT&T sent me 2 iPhone by accident, and because they charged me for it, they said I could keep it.

Guess who has another iPhone they get to sell for a huge markup!??!1?! :D

Well like i said i placed an order (at 2am) for 2 refurbs but it canceled. I thought that because i used my name but a credit card with ss number of a different person it didnt go through. So at like 2pm i placed another order for 2 refurbs but had my name as everything. Next day that order canceled too. Basically they said they couldnt verify me. Told me to go to the store, went to the store, called up support. OMG i hate at&t support sooo much:mad: But ya still couldnt verify me. Did some quick google research and it turns out you can only have 1 refurb per account. Thanks at&t for not saying thar anywhere:(

And yes i wouldnt have ordered online ever again but i found out about the fan discount and with that discount i got free activation as well as 25 percent off each month so i figured the benefits were worth the risk. Good thing it says 4 of my phones shipped with only that one refurb back-ordered. Still just my luck that the backordered one is with the port request so if i dont get it within 30 days i need to reauthorize the port.

They hosed you man you I have 2 refurbished 2g's right now . I think It's funny that can't verify you on the super discount black friday price but normal price no issues. Atleast you have phones on the way which is more than I can say right now.

true BUT everything worked out for the better. If my black friday deal went through i would have saved 200 dollars in phones only. Saving 25 percent every month is a far better deal in the long run.
 
I plan to call Apple tomorrow about my charger (which I have to unplug/plug in mutliple times before it will start charging the iphone) and I plan to ask about the headphones at the same time. I have no intention of using the headphones though so its not a big deal if they can't exchange them; the cable is too short for me. Having a faulty charger is a big deal though as I use stanza/iphone to read at night and like to charge it at the same time.

Nope. The apple store could not exchange them for me. I called AT&T and they put me through to an Apple rep and they hooked me up with the 3gs earbuds and also a wall charger. The wall charger was very intermit and that is annoying as hell when you need to charge the phone.

They are sending new ones with a call tag for me to return the old ones. Of course they put a hold on my cc for the price of the new ones if I don't return the old ones.
 
Hmm, is it the credit card that you paid for the order with? I'll have to call ATT I guess. My wall charger is really pissing me off.

Yeah, me either. The status has once again been taken off of back order though.
 
Yeah , the info I got from at&t is there is only 200 unfilled orders for the refrub iphones 3gs black left. They are hoping the the next fulfillment order will cover that.which they are excepting on Thursday or Friday.( To fill orders before Christmas )
 
So I called ATT got transfered to Apple and set up a appointment at Genius Bar for tomorrow. The person from Apple said I could just take in my charger and they'd replace it. Also that I could ask about my 3g headphones but she said she didn't think they could exchange them.
 
FINALLY!
We called today, they said the shipping address was "funny" so they placed a new order for a black one and Fedex has picked it up. We're good!

We received the phone today and to my surprise it was a 32 GB. So, I got a 32 GB black iPhone for $50. I guess it's worth the wait. Haha.

So I just got off the phone with AT&T and they confirmed that everything is the same even though the order shows completely different descriptions. They will be leaving on Wednesday the 2nd. Hope I get what I ordered. :rolleyes:

I have the same thing "Apple IPHN 3G BLK R PHONE" did this work out to be the right phone?
 
Went to hte Apple store yesterday. They replaced my charger without any problem but they wouldn't exchange my headphones. :(
