Well I finally got my 2 white 16g iphones today. Very happy with what I received. They are perfect looking and so far they work as they should.:)

edit-also just checked the serial number on both phones and they are both covered till next year December 6th 2010. Almost exactly 1 year coverage on a refurb! NICE!
 
I just talked to a csr from premier and they said they have physical phones at the warehouse and I should be getting a email tomorrow with the tracking # . :apple: fingers crossed:apple:

i hope this is true! i'm afraid that since i ordered mine at the end of the day on black friday i will have to wait even longer.
 
I repeated her several times to her and I quote " according to the system my order is in "drop status" and I should be getting an email tomorrow. I'm as skeptical as the next guy I'm hoping her qualifying words weren't just covering her butt. My original order was black Friday morning and my fixed order after at&t cancel for no reason was 11/30/09. I'll post as soon as I have a tracking #

Same for my friend. Her refurb is week 46! Is it possible they just ran out of refurbs and these are just new phones?
 
even if they gave it away for free, there's no getting away from their overpriced two year contract. no thanks.

Could be. Maybe they received so many orders they ran out of refurbs. So instead of making their customers angry, some first time customers, they are just shipping out new ones.
 
Are the chargers hard to work for anyone else? For some reason only certain plugs in my hosue works and they don't work 100% of the time. Do I have a faulty plug? If so, would I be able to take it to Apple to get it replaced?
 
One thing to mention. One of my iphones came with the 3g earphones. Can I take this to the apple store and have them swap it out for the correct 3gs earphones ?
 
How would I go about returning it? I also have the 3g headphones so I'd like to switch those out.
 
That's what I was told by an AT&T rep just now. Not much but hey somebody seems to think it would work over there. haha

I just got off the phone with them because my new iphone plan seems to like charging me international roaming text message fees. Apparently my phone and my girls phone think they are in different countries. :rolleyes:

got my white 16 gb. definite upgrade from my 2g iphone. I put my old sim in and threw the new sim in a razr. will cancel the new line after a month and my old att contract will be up in march. I'll have a new 3GS without contract for about $250. not bad.

Yeah, they did that to my order last week. It didn't obviously didn't work seeing as I still don't have my iPhone. A few days ago they took it off backorder on the order status page. Now it's back on backorder. This is getting ridiculous.

was yours black or white? because black refrub 16gb is on sale again and they have told me there definitely have the item in stock and there not sure why it's not shipping.

Well, it was suppose to be black. That's what we ordered on the phone but on the order status is says white. I don't know why, but we have called and they said we have to wait for a white one to arrive and then send it back saying it was wrong and we will then receive a black one which I find is bull crap.

The more I hear you fellas talk about this, the more shocked and grateful I am that I got mine in a timely fashion, and it was what I ordered. :p

OTOH I'll also note that AT&T's communication even in the best of times is not great so far... I receive this e-mail telling me I have this "CSS" -- customer service summary -- that summarizes my projected bill. The summary lists that I have a Premier / FAN account, and it says that some of the charges are "After discount." But the total is much higher than the total I signed up for online.

I called them, and the CSR seemed quite oblivious to why I found it so incomprehensible that a line-item charge that's listed as "after discount" should clearly be interpreted as the pre-discount cost. :confused:

Hopefully once I get into month-to-month billing this will all blow over.

However, now, also this whole inadvertent charging of domestic TXT's as international messaging that others are reporting is yet another thing to worry about.
 
I had sooo many problems with this deal. They canceled my first order so i reordered it and then they can celled the second too. Turned the system wouldn't verify me with 2 refurbs . Of course the customer support representatives couldnt tell me that:mad:

I am lucky and was able to find the premier website which let me order a new contract without activation fee so i am only out the 100 dollars i could have saved if the original order went through.
