Just go to a Apple store and ask for an AT&T Sim. They literally just hand them to you...
Thank you for that suggestion. I'll try that after work.

I just got setup on this $60 plan Goodbye to Straight Talk, enjoying LTE speeds (9Mbps Down on the tests I did so far and got up to 14Mbps up)
This was today when I walked out the store
Will try again later
It's funny because they kept saying "LTE will not work". Even the store manager came to warn me.
They ported the number from ST instantly and as soon as I swiped my Amex, my phone got 4G and then LTE signal.
Wrong, not even close. I have 3 lines on T-Mobile got $120 with unlimited talk text and unlimited LTE. On T-Mobile your always covered you can even roaming ATT network for free. With 2Gb of data a month you can't even watch the apple keynote.
U can't do this on att
Now imagine everybody was doing this on their phones. Eventually something's got to give. I doubt any carrier would be able to support this type of usage if a majority of their customers started using their phones as their main internet connection. I can't wait for the day I can't call 911 because my entire neighborhood is either watching some pr0n or streaming Baby Einstein for their kids all night off of their phone's / hotspot puck's internet connection.
U can always make a call if the data was congested. U can always make s 911 call. I'm sure these high speed networks were designed to consume more than 2Gb of data. T-Mobile even has a 12Gb teathering option. I use an average of 20gb per month my carrier has no problem with itNow imagine everybody was doing this on their phones. Get real. You can call 911 with "No Service" whatsoever.
Able to use an att iphone 5 on this? How does one go about it?
Why wouldn't you be able to....its an iPhone...a Smartphone.
Get a SIM from AT&T store or Apple Store for AT&T and sign up online at the gophone site, super easy. Or Call up AT&T Prepaid to activate if you need to port in a number (try not to ask "dumb" questions as those specialists are already light headed usually, its best to keep conversations small and simple to get your work done).
Heah i went to att guy said cant do it.
I'm on the plan and so are 1000's of others, obviously he isnt get any commission selling prepaid plans lol...
LTE is working great and so is MMS + Visual Voicemail....cant beat that
fair enough, so i just need a prepaid sim, or micro sim since i have an iphone 5, and pop it in and just follow the activation directions?
Get any SIM...I didnt ask for any specific "Prepaid SIM". I just got a nano SIM and activated that online, then called up AT&T to have it port my number but they said Its best to call and activate rather than activate online and then call as it makes it longer to port the number since they have to re-assign SIM # to phone number etc.
Hello, I was thinking about joining this $60 gophone plan. Does anyone know if I can use this plan on a verizon unlocked iphone 5?? Please reply!! Thanks!
