Definitely easier to go through Apple if you order when preorders starts. I only went though AT&T this time, as would be a work upgrade. Next year - will be Apple.

I had everything ready to go and started getting errors on checkout

that’s when I went over to ATT and had no problem
 
I wish I could have ordered from Apple, as a business (Premier) customer, I have to go through AT&T :(

This is ridiculous. Ordered at 8 CT on preorder day and still sitting in progress. Im porting over 2 numbers and wonder if that slowed it down. Either way, I'm not a happy camper right now.

I’m in FW as well and I was notified by ATT today with a tracking number. FedEx manager found it yesterday. So definitely ATT is behind on the updates.
BTW, in case you didn’t know, the phones are coming from Irving.

did you get a text message to the phone you are replacing? I haven’t received one

it’s possible they sent it to my family member’s email which is associated with the account
 
Att is crazy..
I have three orders on the same account for same device( Blue 128GB Pro) and below is the status

10/16 6:00 PM EST - In progress
10/16 11:00 AM EST - Shipped
10/16 7:59 AM EST - Preparing to Ship

Last couple of days I did the att order status *6737# was getting a text saying order is in progress and outlined the time snd order I placed...oct 26 nov 2 time.

Just Now I do it , it says my order is on back order ?

saw some people get movement when they got back order on the reply

Mine showed in progress forever until I just checked today! Now it shows preparing to ship. Does this mean I'll get it tomorrow? Fedex delivery manager doesn't like my address for some reason so I can't check there. I also checked by using the reference number as my phone number and that didn't work either.

My 256 blue pro just moved to preparing for ship. I’m in Philly. Ordered 10/16 8:05 am with a 10/26-11/2 estimate.

Mine hasn't changed, still showing in progress for next week. :-( 7:59a order Blue 128gb Pro. Nothing in UPS or FedEx shipping managers.

ordered about the same time as you. Just got a FedEx notification but don’t know which phone it’s for I ordered 3 of them and nothing has changed on Att
 
I ordered two Pro Pacific Blue 256GB at different times on the 16th from AT&T. Both are still "Status: In progress"

Order date: 10/16/2020 at 7:55 AM ET
Order date: 10/16/2020 at 4:02 PM ET

Both have: Delivery by: October 26, 2020 - November 2, 2020

I've been signed up for FedEx for years, so will expect a text/email from them when they ship. I don't have a ton of confidence one or both will be here Friday, but it's always possible.

Edited to say: I am in Texas not far from the Ft. Worth distribution center.

So, an update on mine. Both were preparing to ship early this morning, but now the 4:02PM E Order is shipped and my 7:55AM E order is still preparing to ship. This is both good news and bad news. Bad news since my wife is the one that *really* needs the new phone and we ordered hers first thing in the morning. Good news in that mine finally shipped. 😂

And, to reiterate - both are the exact same phone on the exact plan, ordered many hours apart after I more fully understood the $800 trade-in offer.

I ordered at 0801ET, 12Pro Blue 128gig, still says in progress, I reached out to At&T via chat, after a long wait the rep came back assured me it will be delivered tomorrow, but was unable to give me any kind of tracking #. I also have fedex account and UPS none show a label created so I dont have much faith in the reps assurance. :(
 
Ordered two Blue Pro 256 10/16 @ 9:30am Central with a delivery window of 10/26-11/2. Shifted to "preparing for shipment" on 10/17. Three am this morning I received shipping confirmation with delivery for tomorrow 10/23 by 8pm. One is in Indiana and the other in Fort Worth, TX.

Never received a text from ATT. Received one from FedEx manager. I only received emails from ATT.
Like the other poster stated, there’s a high chance your phone is in FW. Mine shows it’s already here. Wish I could pick it up.
 
Nothing on FedEx Manager or UPS. No shipping confirmation from ATT, and ATT is still saying its preparing to ship. My delivery by date was Oct 23, but now that has disappeared and I have no date at all on the ATT page.
 
My status finally just changed to Preparing to Ship. Nothing from FedEx though. Ordered at 8:07 am ET on pre-order day & shipping to MN. 128 Graphite Pro.
