last phone i preordered was this 7+. i can’t wait to get rid of it
I agree with the "way to easy" part for sure. If I'm understanding correctly, ATT opened preorders 2hrs early and yet, when I placed my order at 7:15am CST I'm still getting a scheduled delivery date of 11/13? I'm thinking I'll be getting an "order delayed" email notification instead of "order ready to ship" tomorrow or Monday. Guess we'll see. At least I know to temper my expectations.
Apple.com is still showing 11/13 delivery and in-store pickup on the Max. So I think we are all good, haha!!
2 hours early? Not sure what time they opened as I didn't check until about 6:30am CST and at that time it was not live. I checked back about 5 minutes later give or take and then it was live. Order probably won't ship till Tuesday or Wednesday next week depending on what they're using for shipping.
I got the max 512 in pacific blue, with 11/13 delivery date. I debated between the gold or the silver but completely said screw it let’s go blue. I’ve always preorder since the 6 plus. Mind you I’m not normally a blue fan so who knows if I’ll even like the color. Oh well that’s what cases are for. I also snagged a case mate case and tempered glass screen.
Just received another email from AT&T which appears to be a confirmation receipt. It lists delivery date of 11/13(of course subject to change) along with the taxes billed to me and delivery address. If they use UPS I'll probably pay to have it sent to a local UPS store and pick it up from there.
Meh, I was seeing the “2 hrs early” comment from earlier posts. They may have gotten time zones confused. Sorry if that was misinformation. Hope everybody gets their shiny new iPhone on release day! Also hoping shippers do a better job than usps did with voter ballots. LOL
Is there an issue with entering a delivery address that is different than billing when you order?
This is my first ATT preorder since switch from Verizon and I remember before Verizon wouldn't even let you ship anywhere else but the billing address. Seems like ATT did, but nervous due to that, haha.

So you got the first "We got your order and we are working on it" and then they sent another one?
Same thing with me except when I went through the order process the first time I didn’t see a trade in option so I was nervous that i wouldn’t be able to get that offer. So then I placed another order and cancelled the first. Just weird how it allowed me to upgrade twice.
Yes that is correct. The first email was "we got your order" and the 2nd email was "here's an update on your order."
I did. got a Caudabe and a Spigen. I like the Caudabe cases. have had them on a few of my phones ...
I like the way the caudabe feels. Has a god texture and not slippery.

i can’t wait. my 7+ is a piece of crap.. phone is at 16%battery remaining 4 hours 7 minute usage... it gets super hot. laggy. and it just sucks this upgrade will be night and day difference.
Ordered mine this morning. 256 max in blue. So far I have email they have the 13th as delivery. Crossing fingers.
I can’t believe that I just got a shipment notification on the 12 Pro (silver 128gb) that I ordered for my wife earlier this week. It had an initial expected delivery window between November 16-23, but now is showing will be delivered tomorrow. It will be a nice upgrade for her, from her XR. Of course the Totallee case and screen protectors I ordered won’t deliver until Monday, as I assumed there was no rush to get them here. I‘ll have to make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid with it prior to getting the case and matte screen protector on it.
