Just ordered the iPhone 12 Pro Max 256GB Graphite on AT&T at noon today at Best Buy. After gift cards and trading in three devices as well as not financing, net cost $257 which includes sales tax.

Question for all, and par
45 min in and 11.13.2020 shipping still available for graphite pro max 128GB

Demand not very high?
Still many available even near 2pm eastern. They either front loaded stock, or the demand is not that high.

Anyone else get an e-mail just now saying they are working on your order and we'll get another e-mail when it's shipped? Wonder if that's a bad sign.

I’ve gotten the first two emails from AT&T about my 12 PM, so things seem to be moving along as expected. The 12 Pro that I ordered for my wife earlier this week, which initially had a Nov. 16-23 delivery date, just shipped and will be delivered tomorrow - coming out of a warehouse in Indiana (I’m in the Chicago area), which tells me that Apple did a much better job of getting stock over here ahead of time, so that they could get supply to various carrier warehouses.

As I suspect, some of the shift they made in reducing box sizes was related to the very real issues of moving freight around the world during the pandemic. Although it was no small miracle the way Apple had been able to, in previous years, get millions of devices delivered to individual consumers over the course of a weekend, it took huge amounts of airline capacity to pull off. And that capacity just does not exist any longer - certainly not at the rates that Apple was paying.

well it looks like i’m headed to best buy to pick up a screen protector and maybe a case if i find one i like.

Will have to pick up either the 20 watt charger cube or get a 18 watt since i read there really is no difference in how they charge. Real good video incase anyone is curious how magsafe and a qi charger perform compared to a cube and cable

Picked up two 18w Apple charging bricks and a lightning dongle for 3.5mm headphone jack/USB C port by Belkin from Best Buy. Ordered Defender case and two braided USB C to Lightning cables from Otterbox. Ordered Blue Light Tempered Glass screen protector from Zagg.

Great video. Glad to see the best performance coming from the new 20w Anker Nano. I bought a couple of them for my wife and I, so I'm glad I went that route rather than buying the official apple one. Especially considering they are a few bucks cheaper and quite a bit smaller.

Does anker have more than one nano? They have this one at best buy. is there a newer one out?? same price as the current one on their site but the front looks different as the lettering is different

That's the one you want. They basically just updated last year's model, which was an 18w variant But ahead of the iphone launch, they released the updated 2020 version which was a 20w model.

Trying to upgrade to 12 pro max from an 11 pro max.
How does the trade in process work? Because when I go to check out it wants to make a full charge on my card.
thanks

okay cool wasn’t sure because the one on the website says iQ3 on the face of it So i wasn’t sure if that one was the updated 20 watt and this one at best buy was a older one or something.

Picked up a invisible shield glass+. Zagg’s customer service is great and flawless if it breaks. Simply pay shipping and they mail you a new one and ya mail the broken one back no questions.
I didn’t like any of their cases there so the search for a new case is on. There really aren’t many stores that sell cases. I’ll have to check the phone stores out and see what they have.

Are there stores that still install screen protectors? I'm horrible at this process honestly.
it’s super easy just have to make sure the screen is fully cleaned and no dust or anything. Line it up and drop it.
It’s easier now than the plastic ones back in the day before the glass were a thing. I hated those haha. If done right and even they go on perfect
