I got an email from AT&T this morning stating my iPhone 12 pro silver has been delayed up until December 8. I’m glad I have the 12 pro max to use and not just waiting on an iPhone to arrive. Id be upset. I sort of still am. Oh well. I’ll just keep waiting....
 
12 Pro Max 256GB “Pacific Blue” came in today...preordered in store the Saturday after Preorder Day due to switching from Sprint. Upgraded from the X...definitely a change!!! Be patient for those that are still waiting I’ve been in these forums for years and it always works out in the end and usually comes ahead of schedule. Mine was due to ship between 11/24 and 12/2 and came 11/19 (less than a week from release date).
 
Heads up, placed order for my Graphite iPhone 12 Pro Max taking advantage of AT&T's $700 credit offer last night and just got email with FedEx tracking showing it will be here Monday.
 
Trade in mailer comes via the post office and looks like this. Read all the instructions ie turn off Find my iphone, etc.

I was just coming to ask if anyone had gotten their kits! I havent gotten mine yet, hopefully itll be here sometime early next week. Thanks for the picture so I know what to look out for!

Ordered 12 Pro 256GB PB in store today and it has an estimated delivery date of Dec 14-21.

Same model in other colors were:
Graphite: Dec 7-14
Silver: Dec 14-21
Gold: Mid-Jan (!)

will update when I get my delivery email..

now, deciding on a case!
 
I just got my main issue resolved by a call to ATT CS. I upgraded 2 iphones under the $800 deal 11/5. First one went ok so far via USPS mailer and is at HYLA (11/18) going thru inspection prior to trade credit approval. My second one never got tradein conf quote email and mail in kit. She processed it for me and sent me a UPS label to ship myself with own box (better than mailer with post office). She said value is $340 (XS Max 256) pending inspection. She looked up the first one and said it is being processed and should price out at $140 (8S Plus 64). We shall see. Now get past the account credits hurdle.

If you can, ask CS to email you a link to print a UPS label and use your own box. That route protects the phone better and UPS more reliable hopefully.

Gap Issue in iPhone 12 PRO MAX. This might void your warranty so, have a look before you buy

ATT received and processed my iPhone 8 on November 16th but still hasn’t completed the trade. Trade in value says promotion applied so I guess that means I’ll get $800 at some point.

Iphone 8 Plus processed yesterday. Hopefully this means the $800 credit is being processed.

That’s what mine looks like. They’ve been processing for nearly 10 days.
Just got an email from them:

so I decided that I didn’t want to wait until Dec 14 and found a phone on Best Buy that got to me today!

walked into the store to trade in my XS max.. left with the paperwork for $700 in credits to my bill :)

now if only that notification issues with iMessage gets fixed!!

Just ordered a 128GB PB 12 Pro for my daughter for Xmas. Since the delivery quote is for the week of Xmas and a little beyond, I have my fingers crossed that it gets here in time. All of the usual outlets like Apple and Best Buy are quoting post Xmas delivery times.
 
Kit or no kit, I will be walking mine to the AT&T store in person and making sure it is received and acknowledged by the monkeys on staff.
If you requested the trade online, ATT walk in store won’t be able to help you.

So my latest ATT bill has the monthly credit for the trade in but when I check the trade in status it still says in process. Oh well.....

Can you link me to another thread where this is being discussed? I don't visit the forums frequently but my wife has been complaining about not getting notifications for texts recently. I figured it was just her missing them. So I'm curious to hear if others are having the same issue.

I don't have links, but I had this exact issue. I'd lost nearly ~30 messages/week in some group chats.

iPhone 6S Plus on iOS 14.2 w/ AT&T= not receiving other MMS group messages and "failed delivery" of my messages
iPhone 12 Pro on iOS 14.2 w/ its bundled, preinstalled AT&T SIM = not receiving other MMS group messages and "failed delivery" of my messages

Nothing changed!

Exact same problem, two phones, two SIMs. The in-store AT&T rep, crazily, told me, "Well, see, the 6S is an old phone. Sometimes they don't get messages. Good thing you're getting a new phone."

Useless. Until I called AT&T—their phone support is miles better than their storesand they stated "Ah, while you did activate it, the activation hasn't completed on our end. I need to force the activation to go through and this should fix the issue."

AT&T "forced the activation" (yeah, I don't know what that means, either, nor why it was stuck) and, bam, I've now gotten 100% of group chat messages and haven't lost one since that AT&T call.
 
Any change in your order status ? Mine is still the same old "In progress".. :(
My order changed from "In Progress" to "Preparing to ship" today. The estimated ship date remains unchanged and is still 12/9 - 12/16. I guess that means I won't be one of the lucky ones to get it earlier than expected?

👍At least there is some update, right ? i don't think it will remain in that status for long and should ship out soon..
