Stuck at work if not I’d give it a shot at ridge hill Apple store , would kill two birds with one stone and get rid off att while I’m at it . Congrats to everyone that got their phone today !! ;)

Congrats! This was my first time waiting in line and it honestly wasnt that bad.
Yeah second time for me just was super surprised they even had any. Set my time and went to have lunch now figuring out how to get my old backup on it. I was on 11.2 so I can't from iCloud. Trying to back up the phone to iTunes to see if maybe it's just data and I can restore from that.

Just got my new phone. Chatted with an AT&T rep while in line and my Next was reset so I was able to get a phone.

Yes. Once I knew I had the res I cancelled my Apple order online, then called AT&T (611 from your phone) and chatted with a rep. By the time I got to her it had actually already reset but still call just in case because they can reset it over the phone.

Canceled my preoder....upgrade was restored immediately. Went to the Apple store near my location and bought a Space Gray 256 X on Att Next! Good luck to those still waiting, and enjoy to those who have received their phones! Til next year good people!

Once they brought my phone from the back I just canceled my preorder on Apple.com and in less than 5 minutes my AT&T next reset. My store had an AT&T rep in it today, but I did not need his assistance today. Everything went smoothly.

thanks. And to confirm - there is no way to cancel from the Apple App just on Apple.com? did you just use one of their computers in store?

i have a pre order for 17-24 window for att next. However if the store has stock tomorrow how do i make reservation since i already have one pending on the same line?

I told the rep my situation and what I was trying to accomplish and she reserved it for me

Was about to cancel my preorder and grab one locally here from the Apple Store. One of the Apple Stores here locally had plenty of stock.

While I was in line, an Apple employee started walking down the line asking each person for their phone # and what model they wanted (carrier, size, color). He said that this was to reserve a phone and thag the reservations were held until 9pm.

I then cancelled my order via the website (you cant cancel via the app), then chatted with an AT&T rep online and they confirmed it was reset. It had probably reset when I cancelled it but its good to confirm.

You can do it on your phone, just not via the app.

I was:
AT&T Next Every Year
256 Silver
ordered ~3:15 EST
Delivery date: 11/17-24
OIP & no CC charge.

but i literally walked into apple in tysons corner va at 430 PM and was able to pick the exact one up via the IUP. canceled my order and decided to keep my 7plus.

At my store there were Apple associates ready to tell you if they had the config you want and then they reserve it right there. Mine just reserved it at 'full price' and then I used ATT Next at purchase.

if I was off today I would have went to the Apple Store here and got one, but the only Apple Store isn't that close to me

Yeah I too cancelled my online order. Was able to get one from the nearest Apple store. All they had left were 256GB AT&T Silver, which was great cause that is what I tried ordering first. Good luck to the rest of you!

I was able to go to a Target and get my phone. 256 Silver AT&T. I got there around 4 in the afternoon. What gives with the shipment issues Apple?

I had two orders for SG 256, ATT next with an 11/17-11/24 date. No movement in the past few days. Walked into a local AT&T store today and picked up two phones with no wait. They also had a promotion where you buy an iPhone X and get an iPhone 8 for free, so picked up two 8's for the kids! Needless to say, I cancelled the orders with Apple.

EDIT: I used Safari to navigate to the orders page where I cancelled both orders. Within a minute or two, the associate at ATT was able to refresh and see that I was eligible for upgrade.

Cancelled my 17-24 order as I was able to walk into Target at 6pm on launch day and get one - in and out in 15 min. That’ll teach me to order at midnight again...

I won’t order from Apple again that is for sure, they are screwing At&T customer just because they used next and not iup. Which is bs because they are still getting their money
