Cancelled my pre-order and placed a new order for pickup today at 3:30. It processed immediately and I had no issues at all. Only downside is a 2.5 hour drive to my nearest Apple Store. Much better than waiting two weeks though!

Add me to the list of people who canceled their att next preorder. I now have a pickup at my Apple store today. Cancellation took all of two minutes before I was able to order again.

I canceled my preorder at 6:50
Apple.com is still showing I'm not eligible for next upgrade at 9:50

So much for 11/17-24

Picking mine up tonight. All of my local Apple stores have silver models in stock. No space gray.

My Next account is jacked and took me 2 hrs to get them to reset it, for the second time. They apparently don’t know how to reset it if the order wasn’t placed through AT&T.

AT&T is saying it takes up to 24 hours before att next resets itself

That’s weird. When I cancelled my Apple App preorder my AT&T Next upgrade reset in less than five minutes! I canceled my preorder in the Apple store once the specialist brought my phone from the back. There was also an AT&T rep in store yesterday.

This is what I’m dealing with. How did you get it reset?

I basically told them to figure it out or I was just going to switch to Verizon. I took 3 different people plus an online chat. This is the second time I’ve had issues with it.

Still no change but if it's not fixed by tomorrow I may even go as far as to canceling my service with att

I am officially no longer a member of this group. I woke up and saw the Apple store had stock this morning. I cancelled my order, called AT&T to take off the Next hold (took me 20 minutes!), and I am picking my iPhone up from the store tonight at 7pm! This was, and is, a ridiculous situation.

Also cancelled mine after finding my 256 silver locally. What a poor experience with Apple and horrendous service from ATT. I am now a Verizon customer. Good luck everyone!

Yea my upgrade status was reversed instantaneously....its weird it took yours that long.

What color X are you after?

Had stuff to do today so I wasn't able to go to a apple store and see if any space grey 256 were available . As of right now all 12 stores near me are out of stock . Tomorrow morning I'll check online and hopefully I can reserve one that's at a store nearby . Really thinking about dropping att , seems to me other people on other carriers have seen at least some progress with there orders getting bumped up or what not.

Looks like it's just me and you buddy :-(

I'm not pressed nor eager enough to go drive over an hour to the apple store for a phone that will be delivered to my house...my dates are 17th-24th....my 7 plus is doing great, so I can wait, now if it comes sooner then that would be awesome, but not faded either way...now next year I know not to bother getting up at 3 in the morning to do a pre-order......
