I can confirm no go for unlimited data plan. Did talk with ATTLooks like the WiFi calling is not working for unlimited plan.
Can anyone with unlimited data plan confirm if it is working for them?
This is insane ATT
In which city in bay area are you getting wifi calling? I am tried to activate in Fremont, Sunnyvale and Cupertino, i get the message wifi calling is not available in your area.
I had a similar problem after activating wifi calling my visual voicemail stopped working I had to turn wifi calling off in order to get my visual voicemail back.I had it working the other day in Connecticut, however when i left my house and was off wifi i was unable to send a sms text, i rebooted my phone and it still didnt work i had to turn the feature off and reboot it, obviously a huge inconvenience that out weighs the positive of the feature and something ill assume they'll in a future update, Anyone else have that issue?

This isn't true. Att Reps know nothing. I changed my 450 minute rate plan to unlimited minutes and kept my unlimited data plan. Wifi calling then activated right away. I switched back to my original plan and wifi calling still work. I think if i toggle it off then on, it won't work anymore.Att has no logic at all. UDP no vowifi= I have no reason to turn on wifi = will use more cell data. Att! Please stop mismanagement.
Did you lost your Rollover minutes when you switched back to original? This isn't true. Att Reps know nothing. I changed my 450 minute rate plan to unlimited minutes and kept my unlimited data plan. Did you do it online or with CS rep? I want to change my lines for free Canada calls, but still worry about UDP. I have a-list, do you have it? If yes, did you loose it when switch back and forth? Thanks. This isn't true. Att Reps know nothing. I changed my 450 minute rate plan to unlimited minutes and kept my unlimited data plan. Wifi calling then activated right away. I did it online. I didn't have a list but I'm pretty sure you'll loose it. Att rep said I can't switch to unlimited calling because I'll loose unlimited data. He meant I need to move over to mobile share. Of course the rep was wrong, you have the option of a few different voice calling plans online. while still retaining unlimited data because all your Change is the voice plan.Did you do it online or with CS rep? I didn't, however I switched the rate plan to the Unlimited rate plan, activated the wifi calling, and then quickly switched back to my original 450 nation plan. The roll over minutes were still available after the change, but if you choose to stay on unlimited calling minutes you wouldn't need rollover.Did you loose your Rollover minutes?
I see. you did it online and what effective date you choose? Today? Last billing cycle date? Just got it turned on in Hoover, Alabama
Noope. No one yet reported that it is working with limited plan. It is working only with unlimited minutes (shared plan)Hopefully getting closer for me to be able to enable it. I have a Hoover number living in Madison. I am hoping it will eventually work with my UDP and my 700 min family plan.
I was able to get it working with my unlimited data plan! I have the 450 nation plan which i replaced online with unlimited calling minutes then activated wifi calling right away. a minute later i switched back to my 450 minute plan and my wifi calling have been working since. Customer service reps don't know anything and I'm sure of this now. You can do all of this online. Those with the unlimited data plan can move between 3 available calling plans.Noope.
