And, of course this shipment isn't eligible to be held at a local FedEx facility. What a cluster.
Did you try speaking with a supervisor? sometimes that helps. It's ridiculous that you can't go and pick it upAnd, of course this shipment isn't eligible to be held at a local FedEx facility. What a cluster.
I've read where this is a restriction placed by the shipper, regular customer service is unable to do anything about it, and usually only the distribution center itself can place the override/make the exception. So I'll give them a call in a little bit to see.Did you try speaking with a supervisor? sometimes that helps. It's ridiculous that you can't go and pick it up
We are on the same boat. One watch shipped, but the other is still preparing. Funny thing is the one that was early in the AM is preparing to ship and the one with the later shipping date has shipped.
I got in contact with the local distribution center after some creative googling. They left me with, "Our system is down and not letting me pull anything up, we'll have to call you back" and promptly hanging up after I say "Okay" without ever taking my phone number. Hope they have caller ID. This is turning into a comedy of errors.Just got my shipping notification! Arrives Monday by 3. I’ve never had any luck with having FedEx hold a package for pickup. I’m interested to see if you succeed.

Just got my shipment notification - Monday by 8:00 PM
I might call them back. Undecided. I may just see where it winds up tomorrow, and go try and get it from the distribution center anyway (if it makes it there). Are you going to call them back? Did you ask if you could pick it up tomorrow?

Funny...mine changed from "by 3pm" to "by 8pm". Damn FedEx.
I’m thinking I might order the SS with the white sport loop. It’s shows shipping between October 6-13.

My time also changed.
I just called the national customer service center and they will not hold the package until one attempt has been made (at the request of AT&T). I've never understood that logic (UPS has the same policy). Pretty certain I'd have greater odds of winning the next 52 consecutive PowerBall's than having AT&T change that (which they CAN do, just won't).

Now chatting with AT&T to see what ridiculousness I can get into with them. More to come...

Ok, at the 40 minute mark. So far the chat rep has had someone from the order dept call me and they put me on hold for about 15 mins to work with another dept and just came back and told me that my order will be delivered today, which I found incredulous because it just shipped today. After explaining that today is Friday and not Monday, she now has me on hold to call FedEx.
You have far more patience than me. I do find it odd they wouldn’t do Saturday delivery on this order automatically, but whatevs. I’ll see if I can pick it up tomorrow. If not, my wife should be home most of the day Monday. Just frustrating that they’re not living up to expectations.I just called the national customer service center and they will not hold the package until one attempt has been made (at the request of AT&T). And the saga ends just as expected. FedEx says they can't update it to Saturday delivery because it is already on a plane. Oh well, I tried.
Yes, it’s out for delivery as we speak! It’s just odd that mine is coming from UPS and most everyone else’s is coming Fed Ex. No need to worry now as I know where it’s at!FedEx is the default for AT&T devices. Did you order from AT&T or Apple? The default for Apple is to use UPS. There are exceptions do to company affiliations but for the most part this is consistent.
Your device should have actually moved overnight and be at or near your local distribution center for delivery today.

Anyone’s watch update with earlier shipping times?
