Anyone’s watch update with earlier shipping times?
mine wasn't due to ship until the 29th, and arrived on launch day.

I have a feeling its regional as well... like if you order the same watch to Florida and one to New York, at the exact same time, they could have different ship dates due to allocation for the region
 
Fedex is supposed to be delivering mine today, but tracking still has it at the destination sort facility... Grrrr...

Did they ever update? I know they are sometimes slow about updating. It's happened to me that it's shown that then I get notification that it has delivered.

both of mine were finally delivered today... funny thing is that ATT packed it on the 21st like they were supposed to, but never actually shipped it till the 22nd

I don’t know what the deal was. Wound up calling the distribution center again, they said the freight delivery arrived late or something. I got an exception added by the supervisor and had it held there, so I picked it up a little while ago. Finally!

Wahoo! I'm glad for you! I'm stuck at work late and it's driving me crazy that it's just sitting there. Waiting.
 
Mine would have arrived today. I am refusing delivery through FedEx so it will not reach my house. I really wanted a Stainless Steel AW3. AT&T did not offer them on their website until Friday. By the time they were online, my first one was shipped and the only way to cancel was to return this order. The fastest way to do this was to refuse delivery or at least that is what AT&T said to do. I ordered the Stainless Steel Soft White Friday. It had the same 10/6 - 10/13 delivery dates as mine that would have came today. So hopefully it will come earlier than expected as well.

AND, because why not - it's defective. The watch reboots continuously every 90-180 seconds. I'm able to get it through the initial setup if I skip past all of the options really fast, but once set up it'll continue to reboot no matter what. On the phone with Apple Support now.

Since I purchased it from AT&T, her suggestion so far is to return it and reorder it. So ... more likely is that I return it and just be done with it. Just wasn't meant to be!

You can take it to the genius bar...I'm sure they can replace it. Doesn't matter where you bought it.

No available appointments until next week. They told me I can show up at 10 AM as a walk in, but I'm not taking time off work.

Even then, they told me it's likely they would need to order my replacement after its been evaluated, so it's up to a week and a half before I get a replacement.

I wouldn't be too upset about that, but I've never owned an Apple Watch at all and I have very specific use cases in mind for running and exercise. I've only got 14 days to return it to AT&T. If it doesn't fit my needs, I'd like more than 2-3 days to send it back.

I'll just stick with my Garmin.
 
Well Fedex Express strikes again. I had my neighbor watching for Fedex (we flew home to the states from Ireland yesterday). They notified me once I touched down in Boston for a layover that Fedex didn't bother coming to my house just left a note on my mailbox no one was available (I've had issues with Fedex Express for years). I spent my 3 hour layover calling in another complaint to the corporate office. They have assured me I will get my watch today. I'm sure that nitwit driver will wait till the end of the day to deliver it. I should be sleeping after being up for 24+ hours yesterday but here I am wide awake and ready to go at 0730 this morning. :(

Finally got home to mine last night and was expecting a nightmare. Unboxed and finished setup within minutes - couldn't believe it! Can't wait to get rid of the Sport Band and get the Sport Loop though. Has anyone actually seen a 42mm Midnight Blue or Black Sport Loop in store?

UGH!! I kept my original order ( same 10/27 - 11/10 dates) and ordered the same as you in SS 38MM with what I like to call the “fancy band”. Dates are 10/13-10/20. One if these dang watches should ship soon!!!

Dang I hope it comes soon.. :/ yeah part of me is like ugh.. did I really just drop basically that much for a band? I have a 3rd party one.

I have high hopes yours will ship soon.

Hooray - after 5 phone calls to Fedex (I've been having issues with our local Fedex Express for over a year - their customer complaint number is on my speed dial :( ) I finally got my watch!! I'm impressed with the battery. I'm finally able to have the heart rate sensor turned on...using the Explorer face just because it's a new one..not sure I will stick with it - I hate to use up a complication just to show the date. I will no doubt go back to Utility in a few days. I haven't tried to use just the cellular yet but will give that a try soon - I had no issues activating with ATT thank goodness. I've been wearing it since I got it set up at 5 pm and it was only down to 92% and I only let it charge up to 98%. so after 5 hours that's amazing. I was losing 4-8% each hour or more with my series 0 watch. It is much faster for sure. I'm excited to stream Apple Music once that's available next month. :)

Exactly what happened to me. And I agree that band is way overpriced.

I did the same; ordered SBSS with sport band on launch day. Cancelled that order and reordered with the Milanese Loop. Unfortunately AT&T screwed up the cancellation and the new order kept failing (after sitting for a day). Endless loop of the same so I finally went to a store and after 2 hours had an actual order. Unfortunately that was Monday, so by then the dates had slipped to 10/9 :/

The loop is pricey, but at least it looks good and is very durable.

I ordered late, ( a week late) but had it shipped to a different address and AT&T didnt like that and cancelled my order.
I ended up going to the store last night and placing a new order ( 42mm, Space Gray Aluminum - Dark Olive Loop) and I got an email about 10 minutes ago that it has shipped. I had it shipped to the store instead.
