I had activated my phone in Broward County. This weeekend I am in Manchester Center, VT, visiting my wife's cousins. They have very poor AT&T cellular signal. While I was in their house, the AT&T Wi-Fi came on. It seems that once it is activated, it will turn on when necessary.

They have 60Mbps down/10 up on Xfinity wifi.

i have unlimited data and am in Sacramento as well, i dont think they activated it for unlimited data customers :(

Sorry to hear that...it works good and for me that's great as I have a hill between me and the tower. Have used a Microcell for a while but sometimes it bails out during an update and i have to manually reset. At least this way it will roam to wifi calling. Not sure if I'll ditch the microcell just yet as I want to make sure that ALL my incoming calls get routed properly.

Anyone have a M-Cell & Wi-Fi Calling. Trying to figure out which one to turn off.

I do. Haven't turned off the M-Cell yet. I have LTE at home, it is ok at most parts of the house, so I just assume wifi calling won't work, it will hang onto the cell tower.

During the beta you had to have unlimited minutes. Today plans with limited minuted are getting moved to unlimited minutes.

My Nation 450 when you click to expand the details shows Unlimited minutes now as well. No wifi calling yet. Maybe tomorrow...

I wonder if AT&T has realized anyone who talks a lot has likely moved to an unlimited minutes plan by now, and that accounting for how many minutes everyone uses requires overhead?

Might as well give everyone unlimited talk time (the network can handle it now) and make the notion of "airtime minutes" obsolete. Good to see AT&T doing the right thing for a change. :)

I still can't get it to work and I'm in Manhattan too.
Try a chat session with AT&T. I had to chat with someone that put in a ticket on my behalf to make changes on my account that added the feature. I'm not sure what was done exactly but the ticket was placed, I received a text saying it would be fixed by a specific date and it was. I have the feature on now where prior it said it was not available in my area. Chat with and explain what you're trying to do and with a little being nice they should get it fixed for you. They did for me.
