Update from my post an hour ago:
Now working Woodstock, Vermont. Also with no LTE Coverage.

Had my old SIM card from my 5. Updated to a new sim card in store. The rep was blown away. VoLTE got added automatically and then after it allows me to enter my 911 address it took about 15 minutes before I could turn it on.

Yeah, I think AT&T screwed up by not telling customers that using an older SIM card would result in lack of VoLTE and WiFi calling.

I remember them sending me a text message saying my SIM card was outdated when I first moved the SIM card to the iPhone 6, but the message was vague and didn't mention what features would not work. Since the phone worked perfectly at the time and VoLTE had not rolled out in my area yet, I ignored it. I only realized my SIM was outdated when I heard about VoLTE coverage in South Florida and wondered why it wasn't working on my phone.

Another one here with it activated in Minneapolis. Woot.
What's your plan? I'm curious whether it's something on my account preventing me from being able to activate. I have VoLTE code on my account and working but Wi-Fi Calling gives the Oops message still.

I changed my plan to unlimited voice and afterwards I was able to enable my AT&T Wi-Fi calling.
So clearly this will be a requirement.

Now I'm curious to know if this works international too?

I have been unable to activate in Orange County, CA. I receive the message it is not available in this area after accepting the agreement.

I wonder if they're trying to avoid "I'm using my own WiFi to call, why should it use my minutes?" whiners. There's no technical reason to deny wifi calling to anyone. It actually REDUCES their network load.

You are absolutely correct, however I believe there are two reasons AT&T is doing this:

1. When you are on a non-unlimited plan, they need to be able to count the minutes to bill you
2. AT&T is trying to take advantage to sell more expensive plans

Don't forget AT&T's theme: GREED IS GOOD!

Columbus, Ohio is working. And I surprised a local ATT retail account manager because he hadn't seen the feature on anyones account yet. I showed him how it turns on/off and made a call.

Working well here in LA and activated on the first try (west side). Very glad I have it now, since I don't have any reception in my area because of a hill

Looks like the WiFi calling is not working for unlimited plan.

Can anyone with unlimited data plan confirm if it is working for them?

This is insane :( ATT

I'm in Indianapolis, IN and get the oops message after agreeing to the terms when turning on wifi calling. Where in the country have people had success with this?

It's funny that you say this. I live in Lafayette, IN and work in Lebanon, IN and it works for me. It is funny because Lafayette does not have HD voice yet, but Lebanon does, as it is a branch of the Indy network.

Live in Sacramento CA. AT&T Mobile Share 10GB with iPhone 6 took a bunch of tries (perhaps they got tired of telling me no) but it finally went through.
i have unlimited data and am in Sacramento as well, i dont think they activated it for unlimited data customers :(

AT&T support confirmed that beta wifi calling is not available to business (CRU) accounts at this time.

Question for all who enabled wifi calling. I was able to enable it but can not make wifi calls even in airplane mode with wifi on.

I'm in an area with 1-2 bars and don't see AT&T WiFi as carrier. Though I set my address and the toggle is enabled. Any ideas? Rebooted the phone a couple times too.

Wifi calling working in L.A. with unlimited data plan. What i did was changed my minutes plan to unlimited calling online and Wifi calling activated a second after the change. I then switched back to my 450 minutes plan and wifi calling still seems to be working. Hope this helps!:)

May I ask how you moved it back to 450, when the option is not listed as an active plan any longer. I too am on the 700 plan, but I am afraid if I move to the unlimited phone plan, I will not be able to move it back. 700 is no longer a plan on the site.

Can you give me specifics please? I have a 3 phone plan, unlimited data on one line, 2gb's on the other 2. 700 shared minute plan on all. Old plan, to be sure....

Thanks!
