I would love to know this answer too. I suspect they have a wheel they spin that lands on random dates.
Could be that some configs are coming on specific dates OR then B&H is having a laugh with their hapless victims customers. I think we can start to collect info in this thread - please post order date / config / latest quote

Ordered 26th Oct, 16" / 64GB / 1TB => got quoted 10th Jan

I got Feb 7th date for 16" + 64GB + 1tb. just talked to them. :|
At this point, best to cancel the order and go with Apple because at least they will deliver BEFORE their promised date. Right now it's Feb 24 - March 9 for the same config

Ordered Oct 18th, 16" Max / 64GB / 4TB => will be delivered tomorrow.

It better not be a return from one of the YouTuber a**holes who bought 8 different models, only to return 7.
How many days before did they charge your Payboo card? And did they communicate anything at all?

edit: did B&H start accepting orders on 18th October? I’m pretty sure they started accepting orders on 22nd or 24th October

They charged it the same day they shipped it.

No communication prior to hitting the card.

I did chat with them twice - in early December they told me it will arrive 12/22. On 12/23, they told me late January.

So I've ridden the roller coaster on this one...including today's Fedex one-extra-day delay.

While I saved over $300 with PayBoo, every time my Intel fan starts blasting, I turn into a little child, green with envy, over those who have already received theirs. The fact that my son has a $900 M1 Air that smokes my 2019 MacBook Pro (and doesn't make a sound) doesn't help.

So anyway...this is supposed to help build character, right?

I've ordered from B&H before and had satisfactory service. But I've purchased all of my Apple devices from Expercom. Not the same return terms as you get from Apple. But they reduce the price of the product and Applecare+. I ordered on Dec 2 and got it in just over 4 weeks. The estimate that I got when I purchased was 3-6 weeks, so I can't complain. They billed my Credit Card right away which I didn't like. But I can't complain about their service.

Plus they don't tax in Nebraska. So I saved a lot over buying from Apple and don't think I suffered on delivery time.

Right now, it seems that even the base models of the 2021 MBP 14" are "unobtanium" to many resellers.

Looks like end of January at the earliest...

Ordered a 14 inch MacBook Pro, space grey, 32 GB, 1 TB SSD, 30 November, received 29 December. Thought that was pretty fast. B&H still ranks high for me.

I ordered mine (16" Pro Max 2TB 64 GB) on the 19th and I think I took a day to make up my mind so then 18th seems OK.

B&H Order date - Nov 22nd - ETA Jan 10th. M1 Max / 16” /32GPU / 64GB / 8TB. I hope shipping is fast for you guys!

So far - seeing order dates of 18th October and 22nd October being fulfilled. Hoping that order dates of 26th Oct aren’t too far behind

October 26th Is a long wait but it’s not unreasonable, I’m sure you’ll get it soon. I wasn’t expecting to see my order till Early March. Pretty much everyone told me B&H is going to take longer compared to ordering straight from Apple.

I am allowing myself to have a glimmer of hope! (I ordered mine on Oct 19th - M1 Max / 16” / 32GPU / 64GB / 2TB) Happy for all of those who are getting their orders filled.

I chatted with Customer Service and the person told me that it is now expected to arrive on 27th. When I told them that they had said 10th of Jan, they countered by saying that it was an estimate and subject to change. Upon being asked if the 27th Jan date was also an estimate and subject to change - they said yes

So there you have it - no firm date, everything is an estimate and subject to change

Let us know if your order ships out or if you hear anything from B&H

Got mine. Stick in there y’all. They coming, eventually.
Very happy for you. I had hoped for some good news this week but nothing.

I hope mine is in that group as well - although I think it will be affected by the PayBoo transition.

Since you ordered earlier, I would expect you get your MacBook earlier. Did you chat with customer service? What date did they give you?

Good news for me and I hope others will chime in with their own good news as well. My MBP is in the hands of FedEx and should be delivered Wednesday (Weather and COVID willing)
