92 days for anyone who was counting. But I hope everybody now has their new MBP!
I think they cleared out all orders for the 64GB 1TB and 2TB for the weeks of 18th Oct and 25th Oct. These were probably the most popular models. Calif state tax on a $4k laptop is a killer - so Payboo was worth the three month wait

I know - now that i have it it was. Its the not knowing when you are going to get it is the hard part. Also very happy that it shipped before the PayBoo switchover

Been a satisfied customer of BH since 1999. I ordered BTO MBP 14 Max with max specs except 2tb ssd on Oct 27, 2021 and was in no hurry since my 2018 MBP 13" i7 16gb was still getting the job done. Cost for MBP 14 was $4,078.51 and i saved $361.97 in tax and it is worth it as I am editing 4k on deadline and transitioning to 8k video. However, due to backorder I was told I will not get the item till Feb. In dec. i happened to check the price of the same build and it had dropped to $3812.00 with tax of 338.32. I emailed BH customer service and asked if I could get the new price and they honored the new price so I ended up not only saving the tax but ended up saving $266 with the revised price. On top of that the laptop arrived early on Jan 5, 2022. Despite the high price it is worth every penny not to accidentally trigger an application when i my finger grazes the touch bar. I use function keys to trigger/hide apps using Alfred workflow function and it is so frustrating to have a great app feature ruined because of the touchbar. I accidentally trigger Final Cut Pro X etc about 10-20 times a day.
