^^^ oh wow - I just had one of those the other day. I was planning on the going with a grilled ham and cheese, but the waiter convinced me to try it with bacon instead. He was right. Delicious!

I had turkey bacon for the first time a few months ago. I liked it better

I do like regular bacon too if it's soft. If it's crunchy, I swear it has no flavor. I dislike most crunchy things.

Okay, I exaggerate - but I can't eat the stuff. It kindasorta looks like bacon, but to me it doesn't taste or feel like bacon, and it's WAY too salty for me.

Besides, pork bacon is a time-tested classic. I don't mess with the classics.

Since you asked.....

I haven't tried Denny's version, but I have eaten gourmet ice cream that was flavored like a pancake breakfast with maple syrup, complete with little pieces of bacon in it. It was quite good.....the bacon added savory to the sweetness of the rest of the ice cream.
