Okay, I exaggerate - but I can't eat the stuff. It kindasorta looks like bacon, but to me it doesn't taste or feel like bacon, and it's WAY too salty for me.

Besides, pork bacon is a time-tested classic. I don't mess with the classics.

I love bacon (real bacon), as the majority of posters do.

What amazes me, however, is that it is loved enough to generate, as of this post, 677 posts.

And a fine time to resurrect the thread as Americans prepare to give Thanks.

I'm overwhelmingly thankful for Bacon. It's definitely made my meals much more enjoyable.

And in honor of Thanksgiving..I promise to not make fun of anyone who would rather have Turkey bacon instead of the real thing.

I love bacon. I always good it under the grill instead of frying it (less greasy, get it crispier).

Usually go for streaky bacon under the grill in a buttered role.

Grilling is either applying heat below or above. My oven has a grill at the top, so applies heat downwards.
