Turkey bacon is the work of the dark lord Lucifer...

Okay, I exaggerate - but I can't eat the stuff. It kindasorta looks like bacon, but to me it doesn't taste or feel like bacon, and it's WAY too salty for me.

Besides, pork bacon is a time-tested classic. I don't mess with the classics.

I love bacon (real bacon), as the majority of posters do.

What amazes me, however, is that it is loved enough to generate, as of this post, 677 posts.

Now that is one powerful piece of meat!

(Go ahead, iJohn, have at it - I laid it out for you.) :D

Bacon often relates to lord bacon, owner of the universe of bacon, he stands over the legions of bacon in his armies.

He sends bacon far and wide to become one with other forms of bacon, some smoked, some yet to be named by science.

One thing is for sure, bacon is everywhere, and we are one with bacon.

I'm almost tempted to get an owie just so I can walk around with a strip of bacon on my hand -- or would it look more fashionable on my neck? :p

Just today, the morning rock drive guys were mentioning bacon-flavoured toothpaste, lip protection and lube.

I think I have heard of the lube one before.

Anyone else get Hickory Farms around the holidays?

They sell bacon cheddar cheese, and oh my goodness is it delicious.

I love bacon. I always good it under the grill instead of frying it (less greasy, get it crispier).

Usually go for streaky bacon under the grill in a buttered role.
