Blasphemer!!! Burn him in bacon grease!!!Brettla said:I noticed that someone mentioned fake bacon, the soy based kind, and i use it on sandwiches because it's alot better for you than eating the real thing and as far as i'm concerned the taste is close enough to the real thing considering how much better it is health wise.

Powerbook G5 said:Maybe it's just me but whenever I eat really fried or really fatty foods, I get really bad stomach pains. So in a way, I enjoy not eating it because I remember going to school every day when I was younger lying on my desk wishing I were dead for the longest time until I finally discovered what was causing the pain. Caffeine does the same thing to me, as well.

If you like the bacon flavor, but don't want as much fat, you can try what I do when I am making bacon for salad.MrMacman said:I like my bacon crispy, but not dry... and I don't need all of that liquid fat clog afterward.
Try Kimchee breath. Much stronger and way more effective!Inspector Lee said:
Me, of course. That bacon breath can peel paint and/or drop somebody to a knee if properly wielded.

mmm...panchetta...not quite as good as regular bacon but tastier. bacon's goodness comes from the whole experiencewowser said:I made a great pasta dish from Spaghetti, Fried Breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, and (not least) SAUTED PANCETTA! Heaven!
eww to the first thing. that's just too wrong. yes, kimchee breath is very pungent. its like my dog's breath when she's killed a squirrel or possum several hours agosushi said:If you like the bacon flavor, but don't want as much fat, you can try what I do when I am making bacon for salad.
I fry the bacon until it is lightly done.
Then I put the bacon in a bowl of warm water and sort of wash it gently.
Then I dry it off, and fry it again
If it is real fatty, I repeat the washing process. Otherwise, I just cook until the desired level of crispness.
