Hello, so my iPhone is already at 99% health .
I charge it always after work with my 11 pro max 18w charger and never overnight …
It’s just 27 cycles and already at 99%..
Does someone has same values ?

I ran my 13 in low power mode most of the time. Charged it to 100% daily overnight with a 10W Qi charge pad and optimized charging.

Battery health was 100% for the first year then immediately started gradually dropping to the low 90s. After 2 years it was 88% when I traded it in.

@Marioz1990 Are you using any Apple charging optimisation tools, charge up to 80% or Optimised Charging?

I opted for a 80% limit and charge my 15 overnight with Apple’s old 5W charger. After 17 cycles it is still at 100%.

5W charger and 80 % limit unless I know I will be travelling or out all day (then I do charge it to 100%)
I never use Qi Charging. I swear this is what killed the battery on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It was always quite warm in the morning. The 15 Plus has not been warm yet. I also do not leave it plugged in all night as I usually go to bed around 40% and thus I charge it on the desk in the morning and unplug it again once it hit 80%

No I am charging always to full after work
My old 11 pro max was at 100 percent health till about 6 months usage … I know it’s not relevant but anyway somehow strange after only 25 cycles to drop to 99
Hope there will be no problems and fast drop in battery health

At which level are you when returning from work and plugging in?

It's no secret that the last 15-20% charging put the most stress to the battery (same as going below 20%). So if you end your day at 50% there would be no pain limiting charging to 80%.

I always charge to 80% and in the evening I am between 35 and 25%. Bottom line is I use arround 50% of a charge per day.

My regular iPhone 13 was at 100% for the first 7 months of use. I was charging it via MagSafe every single night.

It has now went down to 95% within 3 months.

Perhaps your battery health indicator is more honest than normal.

I feel like I’ve written this post a million times, but: just use the phone however you want and don’t worry about it. What good is this obsessiveness really doing you?

If you battery degrades fast enough, Apple will replace it. If you keep your phone for only a year or two, then you’re not going to need to replace the battery. If you keep your phone for four or five years, you’re gonna have to replace the battery anyway. So what’s the use in sweating it?

I charge my phones exclusively via MagSafe since the 13 (the 12 was just *mostly* via MagSafe), and they’ve all been at least 97% health when I upgraded them.

Just turn on optimized charging and use the phone however you want. Don’t let the prospect of getting a $100 battery replacement ruin the enjoyment of a $1200 device.

Why do people suffer from unnecessary anxiety monitoring battery health when they intend to trade the device in, in one or two years anyway?
I must have missed the part where Marioz1990 said he'll only be keeping this iPhone for one or two years.

I never replaced a battery in a phone before.

Anywayz in case the battery folks are interested, mine 32 cycles @ 100% battery health, charging 1.5-2x a day to 80% on the 5w since release date.

for the OP, don’t listen to all these weirdos talking about slow charging and 40-80% blah blah blah.. it’s literally the battery lottery

my 11PM has been used every day since release it’s still at 95%. i was a very heavy user for 2 years usually exceeding 8+ hours a day screen time. gifted it to my mom who does the same but also sits on a call for 6+ hours a day. i think the phone call usage was well over 6 months time before it was factory reset and i tried to move her over to my 14 PM which again 8+ hours a day screen time, release day.. it had 99% life after 1 year.

OP , you and I didn’t win the lottery this time, 🤷‍♂️ just use the phone like normal, fast charge, do whatever you want with it. $99 battery is insignificant.

My 15 Pro Max that I've owned since 10/5 is still at 100% after three iOS updates to 17.1.1. I charge overnight on Anker 20w charging brick and cable. In the office, I have an ESR Cryo Cool Halolock Magsafe 2-in-1 charging stand.
