There has always been this myth that iPhone has terrible battery life, this isn't consistent with my experience with the iPhone X, however this isn't what I want to discuss today.
What I don't understand is even if you just watch the review videos online, I have consistently heard reviewers say the following:
Sure in theory I could watch videos for 14 hours on airplane mode on a good Android flagship, but the battery life tanks as soon as you start using them normally receiving notifications and stuff.
Are these reviewers so horribly biased they start giving double standards or is there something I don't know going on?

- This (android) phone has great battery life, I have been able to get 4-5 hours of screen-on time.
- This iPhone had mediocre battery life, I have only been able to get 7-8 hours of screen-on time.
