What lcd x? Can’t find that model anywhere on apples website. Oh, got it. We’re basing our facts on rumors, so we really don’t know what future models hold.
Yes because almost all the rumours about the X turned out to be true. Same will happen with X Plus. Apple differentiates based on pricing. The iPhone 8 has 2GB RAM because it's the cheapest iPhone. The 8 Plus gets you the dual cameras and more ram but also higher price. The LCD X is cheaper than the 8 Plus which means you wont get all the features 8 Plus had and Apple loves differentiating based on RAM. It's why the iPad Pro 10.5 has 2GB RAM while the 12.9 is 4GB. Because it's the most expensive. The LCD X being the budget variant will get 2GB.

My opinion is the budget variation gets upped to 3gb. We’ll see soon enough.

If that happens corners will be cut somewhere else. That model will not have all the features the current Plus has. Hey will cut corners somewhere. They will be charging $1200 for the Plus which is almost double of what the budget X will cost so they can't let the specs come close in all aspects and the Plus will for sure get 4GB

Yeah but how is that scientific at all?
Android is getting better. But to compare someone elses usage to your own is really unscientific.

It never was my intention to be scientific at all...?!

Just saying that in MY experience, iPhone battery life is crap and it always has been. I just thought that android is even more behind when it comes to this.
Why I can say this?
Because I'm using hers for quite a while.
I opend a thread a few weeks ago, mentioning my gf phone, saying that I will try it and yes, battery is one of a few good reasons why im considering to switch. Just out of money atm...

If you're ok with your battery life thats just fine. But i am growing accustomed to 48h without thinking about charging. Never had that experience with any iphone ever.

Oh yeah I didn't mean to bash at all - figured you knew that too. :) Just making sure others know cuz it always bugs me when I'm out and about and someone says: "I have x hours on this but so and so gets x+x hours on their same phone!" Well... the difference is the user then! :p

Definitely recommend trying Android - if you end up liking it, win. If you don't, then you will know why you prefer iPhone - win. The way I view it, it's a win win either way. :D

Yeah, these dang phones are getting way ... way too expensive.

I think I know what you’re talking about, and I still feel this is more Apple not throwing enough RAM at it. If Apple threw 6gb of RAM into the X, things would likely run different.

They won’t, though. I’d love it if the next iPhone had 4gb of RAM at the least.
Exactly, really sad, as they are holding back the experience.

That would be interesting.

We should see this soon, maybe in 2years time, but the problem is by that time high end Androids will be @ 6-8GB RAM mid end Androids will be at 4GB RAM but with mid end CPUs.

I don’t know if I see Google throwing 6gb into their Pixel for a while. Hopefully they just work on making the software run even better.
