You don't seem to be alone with battery issues on ios10
However, my old 5s easily does as well on the iOS 10.2 beta as it did on 9.3.5
I did get a few issues with it suddenly dropping from around 30% to 1% occasionally initially on iOS 10.0.1 but it's sorted itself now out over the following updates since

Cheers

How are you going with yours Deano?

From 100% to 1%:

My iPhone 5S gets around 5-7 hours real usage, depending on standby time and which apps I use.
My wife's iPhone 6S seems to pull ridiculous usage depending on apps - easily 7-8 hours, but I have seen it at 14+ hours if she just reads books on it (my iPhone 5S can never get that).

Seems very good.

If you've only just recently installed it give it a few days to settle down because it indexes a lot of stuff in the background at first so you might find battery life improves.

Nope been on ios10 since the day it came out so safe to say it decreased it, badly.

No change unfortunately .. just testing 10.2 beta 2 now so I'll see how that goes the next few days as it settles down and report back

My old 5s does around the same 5-7 hours usage still on iOS 10 and that's with 29% battery wear. Here's an example of what it's like on iOS 10.1

Getting horrible battery life on my SE on 10.2 Beta 2. I never have to use low power mode. Now I have to.

I don't see anymore peeps complaining about this on the iphone 6s? perhaps everything is now fine?

My iPad Air 2 drained 20% in 12 hours of standby yesterday with only 1 minute of usage. That's highly unusual. Today it seems back to normal. It's currently down 13% with 2 hours of usage.

Went to the Apple Store this morning to have my iPhone battery checked out. The Genius Bar rep ran the tests, and the battery came back as good, with 93% of original capacity after 363 (give or take) cycles. He said that he could, and would replace the battery if I wanted but, it would be a waste of money, in his opinion. According to the test results, the battery drain is software / app related.

6S and 6S+ both having issues with battery drain - phone dying at 15-30% battery remaining, stay at 1% for hours during usage, all of it.
Thanks for your reply guess i'm gonna stay on 9.3.5 forever... Sadly, Samsung phones are a no go anymore because of the explosion issue still these Apple devices with their short life support are a no go for me, Guess i'm gonna go Motorola next year or who knows...
