I somewhat disagree. If you are only talking about the stock camera app, I agree. iPhone only offers the basic features, while stock camera apps on Android OEMs offer a lot of fancy camera modes. However, when we are talking about professional use, iPhones are preferred due to Apple providing APIs and consistent hardware that allows pro apps to hook into the more advance hardware features like pro raw. It is more confusing on Android world since each OEM are doing their own thing, and Google's own camera API is lacking.iPhone including its camera is perfect if you are happy with the very basics.(a casual user) it’s just the way they are, less features/ less issues.
They just refine essential features, whereas a flagship Android phone now has better features and use newer tech.
For camera Apple’s 12 Pro Max is a great point and shoot but very basic.
I’d go for Samsung S21 Ultra if you care about camera.it has powerful zoom and close up macro,iPhone don’t give you that.
unlike Apple’s Mac,Apple iPhone is for casual users and lacks features and always behind when it comes to new technology.
I’ve owned maybe 7-8 iPhones and maybe 4-5 flagship Androids mostly Samsung.
this always been the case.
Filmic Pro is a great example. It works more consistently on iPhones, while there are features that are broken here and there on Android, depending on the device used.
