how long about takes from starting up the mac to login screen ?
I have the same system, but with the netkas update to 5,1. Sapphire RX580 8GB, 32GB RAM, and boot from SATA SSD. From cold boot: 22 seconds to chime, 47 seconds to login screen. As @h9826790 notes above, there are many variables that affect boot time. As for Boot screens, after using the 580 for a year, my only response is: who cares? During my point upgrades 13.6 -> 14.6, haven't missed it one little bit. What I really like about my 580 is FCPX and Resolve performance.

Q1.
Which port are you using to connect it to your monitor ?

1. DVI. ? 2. HDMI. ? 3. Display port ?

( use the DVI port for best testing. )

Q 2.
Which monitor are you using ?

Q3.
Are you certain that you are using the correct cable ?

eg : Like this one ?
Two x mini 6 pin to 1 x 8 pin.jpg

Q 4.
Can you give a link to where you bought this Sapphire RX 580 8gb " dual BIOS " card . .?

I want one ! Dual BIOS is a very good thing.

Try swapping your displayport connection. Use the other DisplayPort connection on the card. I had trouble with my dual monitor setup and it took a some swapping around to get it to work.

There shouldn’t be any problem with dp connections.
I have two 27” monitors both on dp.

If you mean a Radeon Sapphire Pulse RX-580 8GB with a little switch hidden on the back inside that selects between "Gaming" and "Compute" (if I remember correctly, that's what I got when I ordered mine last November from Newegg). There was no mention of this on the web order page, and barely a mention in the box (a little scrap of paper that looked like it was added at the last minute). At some point I thought there was an issue with the card and the replacement also had this switch. So based on my own experience, this is is how this model comes, at least from Newegg in the USA. YMMV.

Is " Dual BIOS " printed anywhere on the box your Sapphire Pulse came in ?
If so, could you kindly post a pic of the box front please ?

Maybe Sapphire have stopped making the DUAL bios Pulse RX 580 8gb. . . . ?
I can't find any recent, specific info on " Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8gb DUAL BIOS " they usually have "DUAL BIOS " on the front of the box. . .my Sapphire Dual-X 7970 has it on the front and from memory, my HIS HD 7950 also had it printed on the box front.

Did not see anyone mention this. Vega 56 nano.
pro:
1. 165 W TDP(still need power table edit).
2. EVGA powerlink usable.
3. No PCIE fan issue for cMP4,1 to 5,1

con:
4. works only 10.14.5 and above.
5. one bios

MP5,1 can barely power a single of these newer GPUs even with the power modifications, and you're asking about using two GPUs? If that's the case, use an external PSU or PCIe expansion.

Sorry no it was in reference to the vega 56 cards... :)

Physically, yes, you can have two Vega 56 (especially nano is very small)in mp5,1, but you definite need the power mod or a extra PSU. A Vega 56 nano uses 6pin+8pin.

Mojave requires a METAL supported GPU and BootROM upgrade. You can't download or install it officially without the METAL supported GPU.

Read the first post of the thread to know all the details MP5,1: What you have to do to upgrade to Mojave (BootROM upgrade instructions thread), pay attention with the requirements and read all the notes.
