flat with edges, or rounded? I think I'll hold out until I see reviews for good 3D/rounded glass ones
My Spigen cases arrived - ultra hybrid and liquid crystal. Both pretty much identical in size/shape other than the hybid having a hard back. Both seem noticably bigger in the hand than the caudabe lucid clear. and with the X being bigger than my 6s already, I might try the Caudabe first
Has anyone found a rugged/"life-proof" high-capacity battery case that uses Qi wireless charging instead of connecting to the Lightning port?
I've found some with large battery sizes that last about 24 hours of constant video streaming via Bluetooth headphones, but they all plug into the Lightning port, and I don't like that because I get scared that if I'm charging the phone in the case and I drop it, the Lightning connector might get bent and damage the port.
There was no other option for 7/7 Plus, but now that inductive charging is built into the new lineup, I'm curious if anyone else has been looking too and found something.
The closest I could find is mophie's magnetic cases plus their magnetic Qi battery pack—that said, a few problems: it's two accessories held together magnetically (too easy to detach?), the case doesn't look that rugged (want it to still be shock and shatter-resistant, and maintain the IP67 rating), the case itself is only made for 7/7 Plus and not X, and I figure the whole "held together magnetically" part might mess with the Qi charger enough to render it inoperable, making the whole endeavor pointless.
Curious if anyone else has also been looking for this kind of "ideal solution" for the iPhone X when it comes out (or even the 8/8 Plus for that matter). Obviously, size isn't really a factor for me, I've got a bulky case on my phone now and it's fine. That, and price is all relative: if it's expensive but it's really functional and liberating, it might be worth it.
I’m going with Incipio. If you click this link and fill out your email they give you a $10 discount on an X case...
I purchased the two below and they should be arriving this Saturday.

Does anyone know of a polycarbonate, thin case that looks like the Apple Silicon/Leather case (with the open cutout at the bottom)?
I've seen a few links to some here but they're soft cases that flex around the edges, which I despise.
Thank you, I will order again from them. I have sent them two emails and no reply which is very unlike them. What case did you get for the X?
Anyone get the Spigen Ultra Hybrid? If so, can you post pics?

Can you post some pics of the Ultra Hybrid and measure how tall/wide/thick it is?
I received my OtterBox symmetry clear case and it's really nice for the iPhone XOtterbox for sure!
I really like the cases at totallee. Honestly, they don't offer much in terms of drop protection...but the cases feel great and allow you to keep the form factor of your iPhone. If you do iUP or have AppleCare...definitely take a look!
I’m going with rhino shield amazing drop protection without the added bulk!
Can you put an iPhone 6 in the X case and take a picture of that?
I thought about the folio as well but i have no interest in hiding the back and sides of the phone 24/7. Also, I had an LV folio for my 6+, it didn't protect the front screen when i dropped it (many times). The folio opens and the weight of the phone causes it to land face first in most cases, so keep that in mind.I’m either going to get Apple’s leather folio case or a clear case, I usually end up sticking with an Apple one as they tend to last and don’t add too much bulk to the phone.
