Someone asked about the Patchworks Level ITG case. I got the white/grey one to semi match my silver X. It feels really good in the hand and has a grip texture on the sides like the Silk Base Grip that I have on my phones now. In fact the Patchworks one compared to the Silk one is in my opinion is made better and feels more solid (for the X versions. I can't speak of it for the 8-8+ versions). The Patchworks has a nice lip on it as well.

I have ordered several casas for my X. A clear one just to show the world the silver beauty;)
But also a couple of slim wallet style cases without front cover. I hate flip cover wallet cases!!
Here is the cases I’ve ordered so far:

The best you're going to get is translucent/frosted backs. There's probably some manufacturing/material issue prohibiting clear cases in those ultra-thin form factor.... at least for the time being.

Spigen or Caudabe are the closest I can think of at the moment, but they may be too think for what you're looking for:

Link to place you purchased the case please :)

TIA
Amazon UK, loads on there, search for liquid silicone, I chose this as a bit different colour and has cut out on bottom, and microfibre inner. It was all prime, but some longer lead time but cheaper again

Also ordered a Hoco "leather" as well, why not £10!

I’ve had both Apple leather and silicone cases for all of my iPhones. I’m thinking about pulling the trigger an Apple leather case to start, but undecided on color. Narrowed it down between Cosmos Blue and Saddle Brown. I wonder how the Cosmos Blue will patina over time. I had the Midnight Blue leather case and it got really dark, almost black looking. It wasn’t to my liking.
i was deciding on the apple leather case as well. but my wife had one for her earlier 5 and it frayed quite easily and was a dirt magnet. most reviews i've read say the apple leather cases pick up colors from pocket and don't really wear very well. i decided to try the mujjo line of cases for the X. about the same price as the apple one and looks the same for the most part...reviews tend to say it wears nicely like good leather should, developing a patina over time.

to be clear, i haven't tried it yet, just putting it out there as another option

Had the Apple leather case in BLACK for 3 years on my 6+ and it was great! Held up exceptionally well and I just bought it again in BLACK for my Silver X

I have been looking at the Rhinoshield cases for the X, they look really good and protective while not gigantic (I really dislike the HUGE Otterbox-style leviathans/cases). I see good reviews for their past Rhinoshield cases and screen protectors -- does anyone here have personal experience with this brand and durability etc?

I have bought the apple leather cases for the last several years (iphone 6 Plus, 6S Plus; prior to that the silicone cases), and the leather cases have protected my 6/6S Pluses from multiple drops onto hard surfaces (marble floors, concrete, tile!...I can be clumsy when distracted). The minimal lip on the leather case has protected my phone as it has fallen face-down several times on these hard surfaces; as well as on the back and sides.

The biggest bane for me in terms of a case would be something that impedes gestures from the sides/bottom/top of the screen. So, I'm wondering whether this is a problem with the Rhinoshield. Also -- has anyone tried the "Lucid Clear" cases from Caudabe? Sounds interesting and protective. Just not sure how protective.

Also - I found on the Reddit iPhone X cases megathread: Tech21, "Evo Tactical" case (looks good, both aesthetic and protection); then the Nomad "Rugged Case"; and finally, the Gear4 "Battersea" and "Piccadilly" cases made with D3O (supposedly super resilient and shock absorbing).

Does anyone have any experience with these case makers?
Love my Rhinoshield Crashguard Bumper on my 7Plus. Let’s the phone be seen while still giving AMAZING protection, Dropped it the other day onto a concrete floor from above waist height and didn’t even worry that it would break the phone. On their site they show someon throwing it down from a ladder and the screen never breaks. For the X they’ve supposedly made the material even more durable and therefore thinner. Even on my 7Plus I didn’t feel it added any appreciable width so i can’t wait to get mine for the X.

That looks good, but they should've removed the lip on the lower edge. Sliding up to close Apps/go Home is going to be hindered by that protruding lip.
