Best iPhone X Cases [MERGED]

Thinking I may need to get the Rhinoshield bumper and I can switch between it and my Apple leather case, but I am intrigued by the Utomic corner bumpers which are semi-permanent meaning once they are on, I won’t have the option to switch it up on cases, but that would be okay as I love the look and feel of a nekid iphone!

That looks good, but they should've removed the lip on the lower edge. Sliding up to close Apps/go Home is going to be hindered by that protruding lip.

Hmm, interesting point. FWIW, the closest to the home screen movelemnt on the new X would be a side swipe on the 7Plus, and that’s easy enough to do.

But if it’s a problem, that’s why I’m waiting for Amazon to get them in case I have to return it.

Well played. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Maybe at worst, it'll just be a comfort thing - I know the left lip on my minimalist 6S case 'almost' gets in the way of the 3D Touch App Switcher function (when it was there), but I would prefer there to be no lip - just sliding in from a flat edge of the phone would be better for me.

This is why I'd love a case with no lip on the sides/bottom, but with lips on the corners only. That way any future implemented edge gestures on the X won't be hindered by a lip. (The top isn't so bad because the swipe down gesture doesn't start at the top edge but from the 'ears' on either side of the notch).

FWIW Spigen had one like this and the aluminum blocked some of the signal so they discontinued it. I had one and loved it and didn’t realize the signal degradation until I tried to buy a new one for my 7 plus, and read that’s why Spigen discontinued it. I then tried it both off and on my 6Splus and could see the difference in signal strength.

Love the feel and look. The back is more grippy then my Apple silicone case and it’s actually black.

If the fit is right this is the only case I’m getting.

Wish this one had the bottom covered.

Anyone recommend a case that has microfiber all around the inside, up the sides and covers top to bottom?

Nah, I only use one case at a time as well. I used to switch between them but that got to be a pain. I like the Apple leather cases but was also considering the Vaja. Until I make up my mind I got a cheap Spigen case so I could have *something* to put my phone in when I get it on Friday.

In my search for a rugged case that doesn't add a lot of bulk and is not as hideous as Otterbox's offerings, I came across the Catalyst Impact Protection Case. Design-wise, it's appears to be similar to Lifeproof Next, but a bit more understated. It's also nearly half the price ($40) of the Next, so I decided to place an order for one. With the other cases I've already ordered, this will be my 5th case for this phone. Fortunately, the other cases I bought weren't expensive.
