Should be fine the Caudabe case I got is similar material etc. So far the only case I had issues with wireless charging was this case https://www.urbanarmorgear.com/collections/iphone-x-cases/products/plasma-series-iphone-x-case
The weird plastic they use HATES the Mophie X quick charger and randomly stops wireless charging causing the light on the Mophie to blink FYI
I can confirm the Elements case with Carbon fiber also charging fine no issues
Thanks. Yes the magnet is covered by the kick stand when on the charger. I just don’t want to mess up the coils. Not sure if magnets do that.

Ordered the otterbox defender for the X. Installed it today and the iPhone inside the case felt very loose. I could squeeze the sides and made weird noise and it was driving me insane. Gonna return it to otterbox. Went over to target and picked up my trusty old evutec Karbon Case. Very sleek and has great drop ratings and slim. Have a tempered glass/ anti glare screen protector on it as well

Ahhhh love Evutec! Forgot all about them; I’ll have to check them out.

The Veil XT Frost on a silver iPhone X!

Really beautiful case... that doesn’t protect the backside camera, there’s not even a slight crease over it to keep it safe from scratching when laid on a surface.

Hugs it nicely. But yeah, pointless when the camera's exposed at the back. & no lip on the front either? Big no-no's in my book.

Not close at all! I have no problem with swiping up and closing out apps and logging into the phone. The back camera area is also covers the camera perfectly and there is a nice lip around the front of the screen.

only 39 dollars at target. looks like its sold out the Evutec online store. It also has a magnet built into the case and comes with a magnetic vent mount to put your phone up while driving.

Is it the one that is wireless charging compatible? I have been trying to get a hold of them online to get an estimate of when they will go on sale on their site. The closest target to me that says it has stock is about 2 hours away. A handful of the stores around me have "limited stock"

No lip on the front either (but I believe no Veil XT has ever had one on the front). I ordered two cases and both are identical; no protective lip on the camera.

The screen protector btw is the Omoton "premium tempered screen protector" from Amazon, with installation frame to force the alignment on the screen... not very precise either.

Maybe all this first accessories were designed without the final measurements and using dummy units?

Cases like the veil are really just to protect against scuffs on the back/sides. They’re not going to give you any drop protection or screen protection. And they’re so thin I think it is unreasonable to expect them to cover the (massive!) camera bump on the X.

anyone think this case will effect wireless charging?

any prior experience with other cases like this?

I've got the Spigen Liquid Crystal clear case which is similar and it works just fine with wireless charging but it doesn't have that kick stand on the back.

Doesn't Target have an online web site you can order from and have it delivered. I'm sure they do.

In fact they do.

I'm using the exact same case right now with my silver iPhone X.

It did protect the lense in older models, with a slight lip as advertised in this one, just to not let it contact the surface (just that slight “protection”, not more)

Anyone got this yet?
iPhone X Case, TORRAS [Love Series] Liquid Silicone Gel Rubber Shockproof Case with Soft Microfiber Cloth Lining Cushion for Apple iPhone X (2017), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0759JJQJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_V1v.zb63TEWAY

I got the red version of this, but I’m not overly impressed. Camera cutout is slightly misaligned, but the biggest issue is that this thing is a lint magnet. I’ll keep it for now, but may just decide to stump up for the Apple case instead.

Appreciate that. Such a shame about the lint. Why did they have to use a similar material as the Apple case...

Trying to work out how the camera cutout's off. Do you have any other photos that show it, & maybe the other cutouts around the phone too? Thanks.

Aargh decisions. I’m trying to wait for my Rhinoshield Mod but i loved the Evutec that i had before. I’ll decide once my actual phone gets here.... lol

Might be worth that 2 hour drive! But always can wait until it comes out online and get a 15 dollar okay one off amazon to hold you over.

I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t be wireless charging compatible because it is a slim phone case while still offered great protection. I’m not sure if cases need a specific item inside of them to offer wireless charging or just needs to be thin enough to work on the chargers.

I've got two cases, the Caudabe Lucid Clear (Silver Metallic) and the Spigen Crystal Shell (Rose Crystal).

The Caudabe is definitely the most elegant of the two. It fits the X beautifully and the silver edging complements the colour really nicely. It helps retain that premium feel. There is a slightly extended lip just above the lightning port - not sure if this is for comfort when swiping or to help reinforce that area, but it's quite a nice touch. Buttons are easy to access, but not protected in any way. It is a very slippery case and a fingerprint magnet on the rear.

Here's some pics of the Caudabe....

The Spigen Crystal Shell is also a very attractive case, though not for those preferring the minimalist look! I feel confident that my X will survive a few knocks with this on and it makes it easy to grip thus reducing the chance of a drop in the first place. It fits the X very snugly (no "give" in the material anywhere) and all buttons are responsive despite being fully covered. The rose gold colour suits my silver X very well. Like the Caudabe, it is also prone to fingerprints and smudges on the rear. It also doesn't slip into a pocket so easily due to being so grippy.
