I was surprised that Sams Club sells a nice Italian leather case for $30.

I really like the feel and the look of the apple sillicon and leather cases. For me , they have the right balance between look , feel and protection.

BUT: no protection at the bottom of the phone is a no go, i don’ t want to get scratches on the bottom of the iphone.

So did anyone see almost the same cases as apples leather and silicon cases that also protects the bottom?

Because of how the plastic is formed for the case, they simply can't make a full coverage silicon case. It cracks and breaks too easily when formed as a complete body. You can either take a step down in thickness and get a high quality polypropylene case that will wrap around your phone and protect it from general use and give it grip or find another brand that does.

Yeah, thought so, thanks.
Perhaps i’ ll get one of these stickerboy skins for the bottom of the iphone and use an apple leather case, so it is covered against scratches.

How does the case compare with Apple's silicone case from a grip standpoint?

Never used :apple: silicone case because that's too thick for me. :D But here's a review of the case I'm using.

Looks great ! Have you put a screen protection on your screen?

No screen protection for me. Just make sure the iphone is the only thing in your pocket.

Personally I am loving my new Speck Presidio Grip case. I got it as a courtesy from AT&T for preorder woes and it honestly looks better than my Tech21 Evo Check.

Would you mind posting some pics? This case is on my shortlist.

I got my Spigen Tough Armor case (gun metal colored) and here's some of my thoughts regarding the case.

Its a bit bulkier then I was expecting. It does add a little more weight to the phone, but nothing like a otterbox which makes it even heavier imo.

The squared off edges were more pronounced then I was thinking they were would. They do make the phone a bit more holdable and after a day of usage, I've largely forgotten about it. The Slim Armor has rounded edges which follow the contour of the phone better but I was think those edges provide better protection.

The front is nice, the rubberized portion of the case sticks out just enough to offer protection but not enough to really impact usage.

The cutout for the camera shows some nice depth for protection.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the case, I purchased it on Amazon for about 17 dollars, a far cry from the 35 Spigen is charging. That being said, given the lower price, I may order the Slim Armor and compare the two.

One thing I do like about this case is that its not likely to slip out of my hands which may be something that could happen with rounded corners.

I have an Apple leather and an Apple silicone.

I have:

Caudabe Lucid Clear
Apple Leather Folio Black
Apple Silicone case Black
Tozo Lightweight Matte White (on order)

I like them all equally, but each serve a different purpose.

Here you go. The case has an excellent feel and the buttons are very responsive and clicky.

Also sorry about the quality. This is what happens when you sell your 6s+ and have to use your iPad:

Finally got some good enough lighting to get a better picture. Prefer the color Lavender though. My only problem with phones is how slippery they are. If I can remove that element then I’ll never worry about dropping, now all I need is a screen protector can anyone recommend one?

I added a glass screen protector I like.

And I've always used a very minimalist case on my iPhones. I bought an InCase bumper case but not entirely thrilled with it. It makes the gestures a bit awkward and the buttons on the side are hard to press.

Seriously considering going caseless (I have AppleCare+ on this) but it is a bit slippery.

Thoughts?

I just added applecare+ myself because I wanted to go caseless but was still hesitant.

Ended up getting an alcantara fitbag sleeve which should keep in protected while in transit but allows me to use the phone naked.

That looks very nice. My kind of colour too! :D

Don't worry about the pic quality, I've been using my 6 to take photos and it's not got the best camera by today's standards lol.

I still think i'm getting AC+ but for now i have a knockoff apple silicone case (that feels really similar to the real one) and plan on getting a leather one this weekend.
