I've been through 1 Spigen clear back case since my iPhone 5, I have never seen one do this.
Living life on the edgeCaseless and no AppleCare+ for 5 days already. Just a screen protector installed at the Apple Store. Loving the feel of the bare naked back
i have a TOZO thin case from amazon thats as thin as it can get before its called a skin. the only thing I dont like is that its frosty, not clear. they dont make clear cases this thin. the closest thing is the caudabe clear sheath or something like that, but its still thicker than this tozo. this TOZO is basically a "scratch proof" case, not "drop proof"
Otterbox has changed and their Otterbox Symmetry case is awesome! I used to feel that way about their cases, but they have added thinner more stylish cases. I bought the Stardust for my 7+ Gold and love it! The rest of the family bought the clear. It's very thin yet protective. Got them off of Amazon for cheaper https://www.otterbox.com/en-us/ipho...tml?dwvar_apl41-iph17_color=01#sz=32&start=17I have used my original iPhone, Iphone 4, Iphone 6 and Iphone 7 without cases. But I just got the iPhone X from At&T with the 30 month payment plan, and feel I am stupid for spending $1000 on a phone. And one that has a glass back in addition to the front! Apple keeps saying that the new Corning glass is super tough, but it is not going to protect me from a 3 foot drop onto even my kitchen tile!
I hate cases. What is a good case that preserves the original size of the iPhone X? Just so you know, I have used ZERO cases since I began using the iphone. I just thought I would start now since the phone has gotten way too expensive and the repair costs are rising. I don't need some Otterbox type case where I can run my car over it. I still prefer to preserve the original look of the iPhone and size over damage. I just think I should step it up a little bit in the protection category.
I would most likely prefer a super thin clear case to show off the phone. The leather cases seem kinda cool, is Apple's leather case good? What do you guys use? A search for thin cases at Amazon yields tons of results!
Sorry I meant to say I went through several Spigen cases, but one per phone namely the Ultra Hybrid. I never had that happen. There might be a few that have that problem but the vast majority seems to not have this issue. That being said a major issue with Spigen clear cases are the yellowing of their clear case. By the time I upgrade phones the cases have a very noticeable yellow tinge.I really want to try the Spigen Ultra Crystal case, I did only see 1 review on Amazon with this issue, everyone else had all great reviews.

Trying to find a really nice leather sleeve. Not sure if I want just the phone or phone and accessories. A singular spot for my device and/or stuff - but when I’m using my phone, it comes out of the case.
I’ve looked at Bellroy, HardGraft, and SENA. Anyone I’m not considering?
Thanks for the pics! Could you please tell me if those corner guards rise above the back of the phone? I'm not entirely sure how to explain it but assuming you were to drop your phone flat on it's back, would the phone land flush on the back or do the 4 corner guards stick up?And here's the spigen...
I have the grip on now. Yes, it’s thinner. No issue swiping and amazon has the grips at 19.99 right now.Getting the X in a few weeks and not sure about staying loyal to the Otterbox Symmetry or going with a Speck Presidio Grip... (is the latter thinner?)
Also worried about hitting the lips while swiping on the home indicator...(both in portrait and landscape mode)
Best Buy also at $19.99 as Amazon is sold out of most colors.I have the grip on now. Yes, it’s thinner. No issue swiping and amazon has the grips at 19.99 right now.

Yes, the corners are raised at the back to give a little increased protection. Here's a few pics.
