Thanks for the pics. The case looks like just what I was looking for. The problem I have found with the full coverage silicone cases I have bought is the weakness at the bottom but the charging port. How stiff is the lip there?

It is really stiff and shaping up quite well. I also tried to put on/off the case few times. All good so far.

Element Case Recon. A fantastic case with perfect grip, looks, functionality and some of the best tactile buttons I've seen in a while.
The only downside I can find is there is a light gap over the mute switch, lightning port and the case has lots of openings on the top and bottom to collect dirt and debris up against the sides of your phone. Also if you hold the case up to your ear and shake it like crazy you can hear the buttons rattle a little.
I like this case so much I'm going to get the coyote color also.

My latest Monarch, hot off of the production line, stamped with ‘Made for iPhone X’ on the box instead of ‘Made for New iPhone (2017). This is my seventh one.

Unfortunately, it too is afflicted by saggy bottom lip syndrome. My Crimson cases also suffered from misaligned UAG logos.

I absolutely love the look of this case, but cannot stand the saggy lip and will have to throw in the towel. Shame on you UAG, such a lovely case ruined.

Sorry they truly sucks. For a $60 price Tag it should be of impeccable quality. I almost bought one yesterday and love looks but almost glad I didn’t now.

First impressions of the Catalyst impact case.

The grip is great for my hands. It’s a combination of the flat sides, rubber sides and polycarbonate back.

It’s wider than most cases. Kind of similar to how Tech 21 cases are. I find it easier to hold.

Buttons feel great to push and easy to find. But they don’t stick out as much as other cases.

Who knew a turn wheel for flipping the mute switch would be so great?

As others have stated the finger prints suck but I’m okay with it. The protection for the camera is lacking. I think the lanyard attachment might come in handy while running.

Overall I’m happy with it as of now and will give it some time. But I’m feeling very optimistic about this one. Thanks for the recommendation and reviews.

Bonus: for whatever reason I find it much easier to use the home indicator and edge swipe gestures. The bezels must be angled or lower or something.

The replacement Carbon Fiber UAG sent me is also in this latest iPhone X packaging and while the Carbon Fiber looks 100 times nicer the bottom is still very thin and a little saggy.

Blacked out for New Years.

Looks good!! Makes me want to try a UAG....I think I have a problem.

I'm currently using the Otterbox Symmetry and the Catalyst Impact is a fraction of its bulk, particularly the back. One of the things that I actually prefer about the Symmetry is that the raised back provides more protection to the camera lens. The Catalyst's back is flush with the camera.

Do the buttons on the symmetry get easier to press over time? I found them pretty stiff.

The Apple silicone cases work for me. I’ve got 3 in colors Black, Cobalt Blue and Dark Olive. They are easy to switch out when I want a change. The Product Red looks good and I may get one of that color as well. The microfiber lining is great. The cases all grip well too.

I second this. So far, I only have the rose red for my X, but wanting to pick up a cosmos blue and possibly another color.

Just a warning about Mous, maybe they've gotten better but I ordered a case for my 7+ last year and didn't like it when it was delivered. The buttons were kind of stiff and the fit wasn't great. I returned it and it took over a month to get my refund, their customer service was really bad and they kept telling me I hadn't returned the case. It was the most difficult return I've ever experienced.

I would certainly hope that the buttons will get easier to press than they are right now. They are definitely stiff.

They are stiff but I’m willing to deal with it. The reason I’m loving this case is the TPU portion comes down halfway over the sides and provides a lot of grip. Also it’s so easy to take on and put off. Perfect for me because I hate cases and take it off whenever I feel it’s safe. But when on it feels very protective. I’m done with case obsession lol. I’m returning everything and keeping the symmetry.

Good to know. Thanks.
