Yeah, not trying to rush them or anything.

Rush who?
The Apple release coordinators/devs?

As if they give a *generic profanity* about what us lot here want ;)

If anything, our threads about when the next beta will arrive could only ever be a source of amusement to them.

But: I am curious as to how they'll manage the launch of Apple Music mainly if it will be a separate beta the day before release or if we'll have the updated app with beta 2 with features disabled until launch or even if they'll enable it in b2 early for wider testing (doubtful I know. Just curious!)

Same... Are you finding your Watch sometimes doesn't wake up when you raise your wrist - or that it's more intermittent than before?

Yes. Also the Taptic doesn't always work and even notifications don't pop but leave behind a red dot. It's alright though I'm sure it will get better

What makes you think it's Facebook? If it is, is it not just worth uninstalling the app for a few weeks and using their mob site instead?
Because under battery usage it's the one using all the battery. Nothing else is. Obviously it's Facebook. I work at Verizon and the same thing happened to the Android phones when Lollipop was finally being sent out to phones. We were advised to tell customers to wait until developers updated their apps and it should be better. Facebook was the biggest culprit then, too.

That's a really good idea. I didn't even think of that!

That's what I have done. I am on the 8.4 Public Beta and I have nuked the Facebook app from my phone. I have noticed better battery life, and I don't have the notifications to distract me.

Yeah. Also battery life? Mine barely lasts the day now, whereas before I would put it on charge with about 50% remaining. Even if I don't really use it now, it's either dead or very low when I plug it in.

Don't get me started on the battery haha. Both my 6+ on iOS 9 and Watch on 2.0 have terrible battery life.

I hope beta 2 fixes the battery issues I was having on beta 1. Had to go back to 8.3. Man I miss that San Francisco font. Here's hoping beta 2 is stable and has good battery life

Next Monday more like it.

Then there would only be 1 week until beta 3. I think 3 weeks until beta 2 is more likely.

I suppose it's possible that beta 2 could have the full music app early... Or that beta 3 could be nothing much more then a music update... Or ios9 users could get Apple music a week later...

I think they will just wait on beta 2... We will see though

wouldn't it be logic that everything is already ready for Apple Music? That they are just waiting for the labels etc? Can't imagine that it's not done yet.. My guess next Monday!

Facebook app itself is doing fine, the problem seems to be the notifications. Leave those off.

I don't think the Apple Music integration is a priority for the iOS 9 betas. iOS 9 won't be out to the public till September so they have time to get it into the betas in the future.

I had iOS 9 beta 1 installed on my iPhone 6, but I had to go back to 8.3 just because of the battery life, if it wasn't for that I would have stayed with it, but I just couldn't take it any longer. I had to charge my phone like 3 times a day...but on 8.3 I can go the whole day and still have 40% at night. I am also hoping this is fixed in the beta 2 because I love iOS 9 except for the battery!!

If you can live with it, you could delete the Facebook app and use the mobile web app in Safari.

I dunno about all that...
My battery drain is CRAZY bad, and I've never had a FaceBook account in my life.
The new battery setting in iOS 9 shows 47% of my battery going to "Messages: Background Activity".
In my case... it's obviously a coding bug in messages. Lol, I don't text THAT much. =P also, I almost always close out of texting when I'm done... & prolly answer a fourth of my texts via Apple Watch.

Hmmm... come to think of it- maybe that's what's draining it.... the constant data connection to hand off to Watch...
Damn!!!! It seems like different things are causing battery suck for different people. Lol, I wonder if anyone has found the perfect setup where they still get the same battery life.

apple seem to have a non written policy of releasing updates every 2 - 3 weeks. I understand this Beta 2 will be released on 22nd June. awaiting. No bugs this time ..x
