For those having issues with Google File Stream, this worked for me on Big Sur beta 2 and DriveFS Version: 40.0.8.0. Give it a try if you have sudo powers.

To get Google Drive File Stream running in Big Sur beta, run the following commands in a Terminal:
Bash: 
sudo kextload "/Applications/Google Drive File Stream.app/Contents/MacOS/dfsfuse.kext"

1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null /Applications/Google\ Drive\ File\ Stream.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Drive\ File\ Stream &

After a password change of my work Office 365 account, I cannot log into the internet account anymore. The login screen is just blank and the manual setup does not accept the password. Any thoughts?

They face a difficult challenge with ACE, which interacts with the os sound system on a deep level. Apple does not tend to be forthcoming with technical details on these things. So they have to wait until beta 1 to start reverse engineering.
I really like their software. Not sure there is anything else quite like it.

You had to reinstall? Do you know what version you were one prior? I'm the fast ring for Office265 or what this weeks name is and had to do nothing. You my wanna join the fast ring. I've had zewro issues with preview versions.

  • Contexts (window entries have slight colour glitches when Cmd-Tab is used, but works)
  • Firefox (No Offical support, cannot be downloaded from site using beta, audio/video issues with YouTube, unable to play Spotify, Hulu, Netflix, etc. Nightly version 79.0a1 (2020-06027) resolves video/audio playback issues. Intermittent glitching of YouTube onscreen graphics still present. Checkboxes do not work.)
  • Forecast Bar (issues with the dark menu bar icons and Big Sur's dark menu bar in light mode)
  • iStat Menus - Functions OK when in dark mode. In light mode the Big Sur menu bar appears to stay dark which causes the iStats font to be unreadable (dark text on dark background)
  • Pathfinder (some pop-up windows wrong size)
  • Trickster (some misaligned graphic)

I have BitDefender Total and I uninstalled on Beta 1 as it acted insane. I tried last night to reinstall to test three times and there was never an icon for BitDefender but it was loaded. LOL> Uninstall and many reboots. You'd think a company such as BitDefender would be ready. Even when Beta 2 hit, they said nothing. GREAT support. I'm dumping them and going back to ESET even though they're over-priced. LOL. BitDefender are giving their software away for $20. Arg!

  • Contexts (window entries have slight colour glitches when Cmd-Tab is used, but works)
  • Firefox (No Offical support, cannot be downloaded from site using beta, audio/video issues with YouTube, unable to play Spotify, Hulu, Netflix, etc. Nightly version 79.0a1 (2020-06027) resolves video/audio playback issues. Intermittent glitching of YouTube onscreen graphics still present. Checkboxes do not work.)
  • Forecast Bar (issues with the dark menu bar icons and Big Sur's dark menu bar in light mode)
  • iStat Menus - Functions OK when in dark mode. In light mode the Big Sur menu bar appears to stay dark which causes the iStats font to be unreadable (dark text on dark background)
  • Pathfinder (some pop-up windows wrong size)
  • Trickster (some misaligned graphic)

I notice that Little Snitch 5 Technology Preview is noted as working, however whenever I've tried it I get crash/reboot loop on starting up. I have had to boot up in safe mode and delete it to able to get a running system.

InsomniaX (Version 2.1.8) - unable to toggle "Diable Lid Sleep" option. Toggle on "Disable Idle Sleep" works fine however.

Is anybody having issues with Adobe Illustrator CC 2020?

I can open one file and it works OK. Any other file I open after that looks terrible, with a big red area where around the canvas and selection is glitchy.

Impossible to work more than one file at a time. Am I the only one seeing this? I haven't found anything in the forums.

I'm running the full Adobe suite on my i3 MBA, and I can have 2-3 Illustrator projects open without any issue. Are you running the most recent version of the program?

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I am running the latest version available. It happens in my 16 inch MBP and also in my iMac Pro.

Mostly working (just a small visual problem):

Adobe Creative Cloud
Private Internet Access
Resilio Sync

For all of them, the icon in the menu bar doesn't properly respond to dark content behind the translucent menu bar, resulting in dark text on a dark background. Resilio responds properly if you switch to Dark Mode.

I have develop menu enabled in Safari but itg can launch without crashes. Guess it's might be some other causes.

XCOM 2 worked in beta 2, but XCOM 2 WOTC did not.

Now both crash with a new error:
Code: 
Termination Reason:    DYLD, [0x9] <unknown>

Application Specific Information:
dyld: launch, running initializers
/usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib

Dyld Error Message:
  initializer in image (/usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib) that does not link with libSystem.dylib

Calling a deprecated library perhaps?

New in macOS Big Sur 11 beta, the system ships with a built-in dynamic linker cache of all system-provided libraries. As part of this change, copies of dynamic libraries are no longer present on the filesystem. Code that attempts to check for dynamic library presence by looking for a file at a path or enumerating a directory will fail. Instead, check for library presence by attempting to dlopen() the path, which will correctly check for the library in the cache. (62986286)
