WeatherCat 3.1.1 has some issues:
  • WeatherCatBanner generator is not writing to disk
  • Gauges windows starts flashing black to white to black when its window is displayed
  • Silicon Labs CP210x driver that enables communication between the Mac and the Davis hardware has not been updated for Big Sur as of 20Nov

To all the educators out there, is KalturaCapture version 4.2.110 compatible with Big Sur? I emailed the company but I haven't heard back from them. I don't want to upgrade on Thursday and make it impossible to do my job.

What doesn't work

I have just done a full, clean install of from the Big Sur Release Candidate (build 20B28) on to an external Fusion Drive I put together from a SSD drive and an external HDD.

So far everything has gone well except for ...
Installing the full suite of software for my Canon TS5060 MFPrinter/Scanner.
The full installer program has not been updated for Big Sur.
Currently I have to download the Printer Driver, the Scanner Driver, the Scanner Utility and the Quick Menu as separate items and install all separately.

Someone could confirm me if AT&T Global Network client (VPN) is working fine on Big Sur please? Thanks in advance! ;)

Update Nov 11: Apple addressed some of the APFS replication issues in the Big Sur 11.0.1 update, and CCC 5.1.23-b2 includes support for making bootable backups on Big Sur. This build is also a Universal Binary, so it will run natively on M1 Macs. Obviously we won't know if it will make a bootable backup of an M1 Mac yet, but we'll be sorting that out over the next few weeks during the CCC 5.1.23 beta cycle.

I'm not sure. I was having a lot of issues with the program today - taking 5 minutes to load and bouncing up and down on the dock, and had to try to open it and force quit it many times as it froze. I don't think this is a sure thing.

VMWare Horizon should work according to other users.
I need for home-office the AT&T Global Network Client, but apparently nobody (neither from AT&T themselves!) could confirm me if it is working on Big Sur or not... :(
