Well, I finally bit the bullet last night and upgraded my main OS from Catalina to Big Sur 11.1 Final.
Me, being the ever so slightly paranoid person I am, had a Time Machine backup, as well as a whole Carbon Copy Cloner backup of my drive onto another volume, and a second CCC backup of my Users folder onto another drive.
So I update, and all seems well. My copy of Ulysses markdown editor doesn't work any more, but I never really liked it anyway, and Markdown Composer works almost perfectly, and Typora does work perfectly.
Anyway, I am pottering around, and Feedback Assistant pops up (it appears that it was installed during the upgrade), telling me that there is another update to Big Sur Beta, this time to 11.2.
What gives Apple? So many updates in such a short time? At this rate we'll be up to macOS 12 before Easter...
