I bet they're laughing their heads off in the store at the thought of everyone wondering what's behind it. "Let's just hang a curtain in this corner - it'll be good for business!"
I reckon they hung up the curtain to screen off the unsightly pile of packaging generated by the rush for the new MBP!

My guess would be an iPhone display with functioning iPhones so people can play with them and see them before they are out. It would build the suspense and press to a new level of "I got to have it, NOWWW"

I bet it is empty behind the curtain, perhaps a stand/poster for something they will put up later.
I highly doubt they would be that ignorant to put something up like that.

It's been a day.I can't believe no one has gone down there and looked.Furthermore I can't believe the black curtain is still up.

My question really is why they would feel the need to hide an iPhone display anyway... I mean, its far from a secret at this point? I vote with whoever said hanging the curtain would probably just peak interest and be good for business . The warehouse is probably just full and they put a few MBPs in the store and put a curtain to block them and create false interest

I dont think anyone cares enough to go look at a black curtain. Not like you are going to be able to use/buy whats behind it.
I would actually laugh if they are fixing the bathrooms. The Geniuses are standing there wondering why everyone is trying to see what's behind the curtains.
It could possibly nothing, but there wasn't anything there in the first place and I'm sure they wouldn't put bathrooms in such a tight/small spot. I believe there are already bathrooms opposite the curtain down a hallway.
I bet the curtains will sit there for another week or 2, just to drum up very curious people wondering what is behind it.
