I've not tried this, but apparently if you're stuck with a black screen you need to open ANOTHER blackra1n.exe (with the last one still open) and make it rain again.

Instructions from ModmyI, seems correct because on Geohots twitter, he says you gotta do it twice too.
1. Make sure you have newest verison of iTunes
2. Upgrade using iTunes
3. Download blackra1n from blackra1n.com
4. (after done upgrading) Close iTunes
5. Run blackra1n and click make it ra1n
6. When in recovery mode close iTunes again and blackra1n
7. Open blackra1n again and click make it ra1n again
8. After reboot go into blackra1n on spring board (never restore from backup in itunes)
9. Install Cydia (make sure you have internet)
10. Open Cydia after it closes and confirms it works then do 11
11. Delete blackra1n on springboard (open it and tap uninstall)

Can someone please tell me if it's possible to revert to Official firmware without any trace of JB when it's done?
Thanks in advance.
Nope still nothing So when iTunes relaunched and gave the recovery mode message I closed it and blackra1n per those instructions and then opened blackra1n again and all it does is say "waiting on iPhone" and does nothing else.
Still looking at the iPhone and the "stock" recovery screen showing the usb and iTunes image.
At this point I don't think I will be donating the developer. App is kinda crap if you ask me.
Followed suggestions in this thread which pointed to the blackra1n comments which suggested if you get stuck on "running" start over and try again.
Well, this WORKED for me. Must have tried blackra1n five times or more but it eventually worked.
So, if you get stuck, just keep trying.
Yes just restore your device in iTunes to clear it out. That wipes everything clean.

There is no need to restore it before doing the jailbreak, for those doing that. But I guess that can't hurt.
Ive got a pretty big problem, Itunes doesnt see my Iphone in Recovery Mode.
I clicked Make it Ra1n, and it got stuck at Runnning...
Now itunes doesnt see it.
OK, I had this problem too.... Close out everything.... open up Task Manager... click "AppleMobileDeviceService.exe" and end the task... Then open up iTunes.... itunes will give you an error.... then close out itunes and open up BlackRa1n and run it... it will work..
