I’m thinking of going blue and milanese loop. The contrast seems to work well when using the style creator on the Apple store website

This is my setup for when I want something nicer. I was initially not into the blue at all, but I am happy I went with it. I have the graphite loop, which was very rigid and felt awful upon arrival. It's loosened up now and I have no complaints.

Now I’m thinking of going graphite Milanese instead!

After watching this video I’m glad I got the blue watch. Hurry up and ship already.

Surprised how it matches up well with just about every colour of clothing.

Also looks stunning at every angle.

I went with blue aluminum and a charcoal braided band, and I love it. I don't particularly care for any of the other braided colors, but if they ever come out with a light tan I think that could be really sharp with this watch also. I wear it with everything and I think it looks good in all situations, although my day to day wear is dress shirt and jeans which is just perfect. The watch fits right in.

this is a really good video review. Man I don’t know what to do lol. I have the series 4 sg and wasn’t thinking of upgrading. However I am now thinking of going for the blue watch series 6. Decisions decisions.

If I had a series 4 I wouldn’t upgrade, wait for the series 7, if you insist on upgrading ? I’d defiantly go with the blue ?? looks sexy af in all lightning conditions.

I went from the 4 to the 6. I always upgrade the watch every 2 years anyways, and since I sold my S4 I only paid about $250 for the 6.

How many bands do you have? ?
Not that many: around 15 (stopped counting after the first eleven). Most of them are sport bands, some sport loops, 3 or 4 leather bands&loops and about the same metal bands. With the pandemic these past months I almost only use the sport bands (I work in hospitals and they are easier to thoroughly clean). Also, the watch band is one of the few things I can change&match, since we only work on scrubs now (I've not worn my shirts/ties/dress pants&shoes since march)

EDIT: you made me get up and go count. I've 19 bands, forgot to mention a few woven nylon ones.

Here’s a little update from my site. Last night I received the blue watch and I am stunned! It looks really beautiful! As you guys said, indoors or in dim light, it looks rather black. Outdoors or in brighter light, it just shines ?
Does anyone of you have a picture of this watch with the new black or green solo loop?

I saw the Blue watch for the first time yesterday and it's gorgeous. Before seeing it I wasn't really interested in it.

I prefer more subtle styles with clothing and my Watch. I have a Space Grey Series 3 with the following bands:

  • Grey sport band
  • Nike Black/Platinum sport loop (my most-worn band now I'm no longer in an office every day)
  • Black woven nylon band (which looks more grey than black...)
  • Midnight blue sport band
  • Royal blue woven nylon (which I don't really wear as it doesn't go nicely with the SG watch, and it looks more pink/purple than blue)
The midnight blue and royal blue will definitely work with the Blue watch. Has anyone got any of the others listed above with the Blue?

Can someone post some pics of the blue watch and how it works with dark gray / black clothing? I wear a lot of black but the blue watch is calling me.

Hello there,

i am about to receive my blue Apple Watch with the dark blue sports band.

But now I am not sure if the color choice was the right one. In my opinion the blue watch can be combined with only a few bracelets.
What do you think? Should I return it and just get the space black model?

IMO of course I looked at buying the blue but went for the Space Gray as the Blue doesn't blend well with the screen and looks like a toy. I prefer the classic look of the Space Gray.

I’m changing bands tomorrow. Here it’s on a ginger band with black scrubs. Sorry for the blurriness of the front camera.

It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it.

Personally, I think the blue is stunning. Reminds me of my impossibly small Nokia cellphone from 1999:
Nokia_8210.jpg

Loved that phone. A design classic.

And to think that today's watch is a phone as well as so many other things - but less than a quarter of the size.

Please don’t compare a Nokia to a Apple Watch. ??
