The headphones don't have any controls? Do you know if they're sweat proof also? The description on the site isn't very detailed.
Sorry, I wasn't super clear in my post. They don't have the touch sensor controls like the Dash does, but they do have physical buttons on the headphone for adjusting volume and such. They do not claim to be waterproof, so I doubt they'd be very sweatproof. Here's a link to their comparison page: http://www.bragi.com/comparison/

All in all they do seem to be quite lacking compared to the more expensive Dash headphones. I guess you get what you pay for in this instance. If someone just wanted a set of wireless headphones, with nothing fancy, then these are perfect.

As Candurin noted above, those are for the Bragi "The Headphones" model, which lack the touch controls (in place of physical controls), the health sensors, and the charging case. The Bragi Dash are $299.
I just realized the headphones don't come with a charging case. Do you know how to charge the headphones from bragi?

To me the no charging case kind of changes things. With the EarPods seems like your getting more bang for your buck plus apple integration. Just sucks they don't look as nice as bragis.

Funny thing, their website doesn't really mention anything about it other than that they are not compatible with the Dash charging case. What I am assuming is that their carrying case charges the headphones, plugging in to do so, but the case differs from the Dash case in that it does not have a built in battery to charge on the go. I guess that's why they stress that 6 hours of play time, since you'll need to tether to the wall to charge them up and doing so frequently would suck.

As I just posted above, their comparison page lists the differences between the two. http://www.bragi.com/comparison/

Not being sweat proof is a deal breaker.

Everyone is saying the lack of volume controls on the airpods is dissapointing but I don't see anyone at the demo say they hate them.

Not to worry.

The sensors in the Airpods will detect head movement.

Future software upgrades will occur.

To adjust volume will simply require upward or downward head motion.

Similarly, changing tracks requires head movement to right or for previous to the left.

Pausing is a forward head motion, or two forward head motions to stop.

Stopping could always be done with a single backward head motion.

Or simply ask Siri.

Simple.

I'm currently walking my dog and they work just fine with my phone in my pocket outdoors.

I never tried them before v2.0.1 as I updated as soon as I received them on Thursday but this is pretty great!

Are you being sarcastic?

There are so many unintentional actions that will be taken if this is really how the controls will be implemented. Will be worse than random disconnections during a run.

Yea I'm seeing mixed reviews on the amazon review page for the bragi dash. Seems like a lot of people still having connection issues with it, so I'll probably going to be wearing airpod route, as it will most likely have better connection.

ok no waterproofing for the bragi headphones. I guess the two big pros are looks and price although once the bragi price hops back up to $150 they still do not include a case that charges the earbuds.

They didn't put it in that chart, but all three of those headphones have microphones.

Darn, the airpods won't get Bragi OS updates /s

And how well it does when it is in your ears? Having for a sake of feature checklist?

I don't really understand what you're trying to ask. If you're alluding to Bragi making up a list that makes them look good, then yes they are doing that.

I was a kickstarter backer of Bragi's Dash. I love them honestly. They are comfortable, sound good, look good IMO and the software has definitely steadily been improving. They've had their growing pains for sure but I use mine all the time.

How well is the microphone, and what does it for? Phone call?

I haven't tested it much. It was kinda awful early on but I've heard its going much better. The Dash is all about the seal in your ear canal. If you can get a good fit they're great. There are some DIYs out there to improve the fit if it doesn't work well enough for you out of the box.

Kanoa's are DOA. Since I preordered, they have pushed back release over a year. I cancelled my preorder and got my money out of it. My advice... stay away.

Except you'll look like an insane chicken doing that. I think they should just allow tapping for adjustment. Double tap is play/pause or Siri, Triple tap left ear is Vol Up or FWD, Triple Tap Right ear is Vol Down REW or vice versa.

Also do we know for a fact that they will be firmware upgrade-able? I mean logically they SHOULD be able to since they have the W1 chip. But CAN they is the question.

I was pretty upset over the Kanoa news as well. So I pulled the trigger on the Bragi Dash. I have been using them from about a week. My initial review is this. I love the fit and finish. They fit perfect in my ears.. Took me a while to pair them with my IP 7+. I had to pair the right one with my phone then pair the left one with the Dash app. So you do have to pair both ear buds. Least I did.

Sound..
Sound is okay. I am coming from RHA T20i wired ear buds and they are amazing. Great sound and fit as well as changeable filters. Big fan of RHA. I also have Beats 2 bluetooth headphones. They are okay. Don't like the fit but like the battery life and how they always connect and Bluetooth connection is good.

Back to the Bragi Dash.. sound
Sound is pretty flat. not audiophile by any means but wasn't terrible. Volume was decent like that you can go past what Bragi deems safe listening and you get a little warning. iTunes was louder than Pandora. Spotify had good sound as well.

Connection. the reviews are real
So I used them at work. I put my phone in my back pants pocket and walked around and connection kept cutting in and out. I moved to my front pocked and connection improved slightly but still cut in and out. If i held my phone it stayed connected. Seems like if my phone is bouncing around at all like in my pocket or any quick movements I lose connection. If I place my phone on my desk or table I can walk around with out to much issue just not real far. So I am not overly impressed with the bluetooth connection and have similar issues that others have stated in the reviews.

Dash usability
Now I love the interface with the dash. The ear pods with the touch pads and commands work very well. Also the head nod gestures work well. I have not used any of the exercise stuff but it does pick up heart rate when I tested it. Didn't look to be accurate but again I haven't tried it. The Bragi app works well and gives a lot of control and has a nice interface. The Dash is easy to update the firmware now due to the new app you can use via you computer..

Internal storage.
Nice feature if you want to have music locally and don't want to use your phone. Easy to drag and drop music right on to it

Use as a bluetooth headset (phone calls)
MIxed reviews. Some calls were fine some were hard to hear. Depends on what you are calling into and the call quality. Was happy that people didn't have to much of an issue hearing me so the mic was able to pic up my voice well.

Over all in ear fit
Like i said above these fit great. Never feels like I am going to lose one or have it fall out. I wore them the other day for about 5 hours non stop. My ears were not sore or bothered me at all. Like the sleeves it comes with and creates a good seal in my ear. I have issues finding stuff that fits my ears so this was a nice
surprise

Audio Transparency
This is a cool feature not sure if I like it or not. You can hear whats around you when you turn it on and its very easy to quickly turn it on. Just swipe the left ear bud forward. I hear some hissing in the background so bit annoying but it does open up the sound around you..

Wrap up
For me I think these would be the perfect wireless earbuds. I would even say worth the hefty price tag. What kills them is the bluetooth connectivity. It makes them unusable at times. I have yet to use them in the gym but feel pretty confident I would get very frustrated very quickly with them cutting in and out non stop. I know they released the 2.1 firmware update that was supposed to improve the connectivity. I can't imagine what it was like before if this is the improvement. Its an interesting cause these are no wire bluetooth headphones.. you would think the connectivity would be the number 1 feature to get 100% right. I give Bragi credit for breaking ground and getting them to market. I was hopeful with Kanoa but in the pursuit of perfection not sure when they will ever get to market. Hopefully Bragi can work out this issue but they have had a lot of time to get that sorted at this point so not sure its not a hardware issue and will be in the Bragi ver 2.. Just my thoughts. Figured i would share.

Apple probably wouldn't be able to do volume controls, with up/down being a particular airpod, because people that use only one airpod wouldn't be able to adjust volume correctly.

Or they could just disable the mode when using a single bud. They could also go with 2 taps for FWD 3 Taps for REW and Play/Pause when you remove it. I hope in the future they have it so it takes the removal of both "pods" to pause/stop music so you can still just take one out to talk to someone without disrupting your content.

Airpods will be and better option. Airpods will cost you $150 or more but still quality will be great compared to the dash. If you dont want to spend $150 in apple official airpods then you can also go with spigen airpods.
