Any additional comments about bluetooth connectivity? Have you tried moving your music source (phone, watch, whatever) around to see if the connection stays or drops?
I've had zero problems either leaving the phone on my desk and walking around in adjacent rooms, or carrying my phone in my front pocket as I usually do. Note that so far this was all indoors (which is better for in-ear BT phones than outdoors due to RF reflections off the walls).

Costco has the Bragi in stock everywhere (now we know why their consumer shipping commitments were missed...)
That's the "Dash", not the new (and less expensive) "Headphone".

I see, oops. I'm sure they come off of the same line, so I maintain they prioritized stocking Costco vs. shipping other models to on time. Money is king in this world.

I doubt it. The discounted "Dash" at Costco probably come from existing inventory that was produced long before they started manufacturing the "Headphone". Bragi recently sent an update to preorder customers explaining that they had some initial manufaturing issues that delayed shipping.

You can use the bragi independently. I use mine that way all the time. The right one for music only. Also I get about 4 hours of battery life. Bragi has it all. The major draw back is the Bluetooth connection. It's really picky and can be very annoying at times. But by far the most comfortable and useful earbuds I have ever owned.

Hi, I have been getting used to the Bragi which I've had for 4 days, but can't get it to connect 1 earbud at a time. So if they are in the charger, and a call comes in, I have to put both earbuds in my ears before it will connect to my phone and take the call. If I grab just 1 earbud (typically the right, but tried both), it won't connect to my iphone. I emailed support to ask how this would be accomplished (haven't heard back yet).

I don't have enough hands to check if I want to answer the call, put the phone down, and put in both earbuds before the call goes to voicemail. Hopefully I'm doing it wrong which is why I replied to your post.

I also don't like the amount of micromanagement necessary to switch between devices. I have an ipad, iphone, and macbook, but switching between them requires turning off bluetooth with whatever device I was previously using, then turning off/on bluetooth with the next one. Support told me that there wasn't an easier way to switch between sound sources.

I like all the other features of having outside sound available, and nodding to answer (you can just tap to answer; you don't have to nod or shake your head).

Anyway, if someone could clue me in on how to use one earbud at a time, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

For anyone wondering, using 1 earbud to answer calls with the Bragi is done like this:

1. Put it in your ear.
2. Double-tap the earbud.

Wanted to compare against airpods but their lack of availability has been a real pain! Oh well.

Airpods won't work well for me because it's not sweat/water resistant. Just got my Bragi Dash today and looking forward to finally trying it. My Jabra Elite Sport is backordered and won't be here for a couple of weeks.
Actually there is video around showing precisely what you claim to be false. In fact airpods work after being washed in a washer machine and dried in a dryer.

ok no waterproofing for the bragi headphones. I guess the two big pros are looks and price although once the bragi price hops back up to $150 they still do not include a case that charges the earbuds.

I was going off what i read about the Airpods at the time. Cool then, I don't have to worry when I accidentally leave my Airpods in my pocket.
I still would rather have an ip67 rated earbud when I know it's going to rain when I'm out trail running.

Apple doesn't want you to treat it like a license to treat your headphones as the guy in the video.

Thanks for posting, I will keep them in mind if I decide to return the Airpods. Looks like a pretty good alternative and lots cheaper.

I got the Bragi headphones for xmas and have had nothing but connection issues with the left earpud with constant drop outs. Its so bad that sometimes a track can play for like 15 seconds with the left earpod not picking up any sound.
The right earpod works flawlessly and not impacted by the position of my phone weather that be right, left or back pockets, in my hand or on a table. There seems to be an issue with the left earpod connecting with the right one.
Maybe my head is too big and the bluetooth just struggles to find the connection.
Have emailed Bragi, Twitter, fb, customer support....nothing

Are you sure you have the Headphone, and not the Dash?

There's some other versions on amazon with the ear hook design in a similar price range and good reviews. At this point the only major advantage apple has is the W1 chip IMO.

For me no controls on the ear pods is a deal breaker.

Just looked at Best Buy's website and apparently they will be getting the Bragi ear buds. The picture depicts the dash. But the price is the bragi "the headphone"

Yup, looks like they'll be getting it. If Best Buy starts selling it before preorders receive theirs, that's a major f u from Bragi to preorders.

Of course. I was just saying that with all the delays for preorders, if Best Buy started selling them before preorders receive theirs, that's quite the insult.

can't one just cancel the pre-order?

same thing happened with dji mavic pro drones, bestbuy got them in long before some pre-orders were shipping, people were irate..

I got mine already, but honestly I wouldn't care if I hadn't, since I got in on the $120 preorder price. :p

These are awful, well I think so. Don't get me wrong, they don't sound terrible but they are bloody uncomfortable after 10 minutes or so for me. They have different sized tips but the actual plastic where the speaker is, is just a bit on the big side.

Maybe if you have big ear canals it would be different, in honesty I'm not a fan of this kind of bud anyway. And you look like a reject from Shrek with how far they stick out of your ears.

Also, rather obviously, you're back to the usual Bluetooth problem of pairing and re-pairing.

I was sent these a while ago to test and they've been in a drawer ever since. I'm much happier to wait on my AirPods.

How good are they really, well let's put it this way. The pair I have are free to anyone who wants to pay the postage on them, but I don't even regard them as worth that much.
