They are coming from Kunshan City via Shanghai (PVG) due to Canada iPhone units still having a SIM Slot. The USA and Puerto Rico models don't have a SIM Slot only support for 2 eSIM configurations.
Flight traffic still must come through SDF and then on to Mont Hope.

Arrived at Louisville here as well at 1:52am. I think it might stay there till Wed or Thurs before it moves again. I recall thats what happened in previous years.
Very concerned as I still can’t find any UPS updates and my order from Apple still says ‘preparing to ship’ with a Sept 20 delivery
It's understandable. This is common every year.
Those with My Choice through UPS get tracking early, and the shipping emails themselves don't go out til last minute.
If you have a Sept 20 delivery date, pending really bad waether, you should have your phone Friday.
I’ve also had this happen in the past, but still received my iPhone on launch day.

Any movement from someone who ordered through TELUS? My order was placed on Friday but I still do not see any update
I did an online (ship to home) pre-order yesterday with Rogers, and it almost immediately showed back ordered with no ETA. Then I made an online reservation for in-store hoping it would speed things up. Maybe I got lucky
When I ordered my I14P with Telus 2 years ago, I feel like there was no movement until Wednesday or Thursday in their system.

Both are in Louisville, KY since 1:52am too. Last year, they missed launch day delivery and I got it only next monday. I want them to change the launch day to a thursday, at least if they miss launch day delivery, you get it friday before week-end!
That's my concern, to be honest. I know UPS won't do Saturday delivery so if you miss the Friday you have to wait the entire weekend!
I really hope they make the Friday.
I ordered 3 iPhone 16s and 1 iPhone 16 Pro from Bell. All say the order is being processed. I don't expect to see any update until the 20th. I'd be surprised if I get either phone on the 20th of September.
I thought they only did that around super busy periods, like the holidays. That’s the only time I recall seeing UPS in my neighbourhood on a Saturday. Here’s hoping they’ll do it for iPhone launch day should there be any delays. 😂
Yeah my annoyance level at the thought of not being able to use my AVP on the first weekend was intense lol. I basically only lost the Friday night of playtime lol.
I am hoping we see some movement today so that our phones can get into Canada and then make it to our local delivery facilities for Friday.
I trust UPS getting the phones to where they need to go for launch, but I don't 100% trust my local facility to get everything on the truck for Friday!
